Hamburg River District

"Next stop, Riverside Station, Please stand clear of the closing doors." The intercom announced as we took our seat, the monorail began to move.

it was awkward silence for a while until Lily decided to spark up a conversation, "So what was it like working with Killerpatty?" She asked me, "hmm, well I didn't get to know him too well honestly since my team only came across him two times." I responded back, "The four of us were tasked on taking down the warlord Tesla-Skull who was trying to launch a nuclear bomb at Hamsterdam, luckily we managed to take him down before anything of the sorts happened." I told Lily, "whatever happened to Tesla-skull anyways?" Lily asked me, "I have no clue, before the great disappearance, he was shut down and locked up for a while but after the incident happened he vanished and no one has a clue on where he is right now." I informed her, we continued our talk about Killerpatty until we finally arrived at our station, "Riverside Station, This is Riverside Station." The intercom announced as we hopped off the monorail.

When we entered the streets of the riverside district, we expected to see a lot more thugs and what not but it was surprisingly empty, we began to close in on Grin's base but before we entered I had to do something, "Lily take this." I said as I handed her a Taser gun, "Only use it if anything bad happens or you need a little range to go along with your close quarter combat." I said, "You got it." She replied back, "Now then everyone, stick to the plan." I said to Atom and Lily, we began to split up.

I entered the base and saw two thugs nearby, I quickly rushed at them and at full force knocked them down causing them to hit the hard concrete ground, I looked over to my right to see Lily and Atom working together very well to the point where it looked like they were doing tag team combo moves straight out of a videogame, Atom launched a thug up into the air and as he began to fall back down Lily would roundhouse kick them. We continued to take down as many thugs as possible but I lost track of Lily and Atom, I was gonna solo everything until those two meet back up with me.

I continued to make my way to the Grin's office myself taking down anyone that tried to get in my way, as I neared the office I saw the biggest and swolest thug ever trying to stop me, "Puny Child, none shall get to the boss while I live." The big thug said, he began to charge at me, I quickly rolled out of the way, I had to think smart otherwise I could easily get killed by this thug, his movements were slow, "Atom!" I yelled out trying to call for him but he didn't appear, I then remembered he's still with Lily, I have to take down the big guy by myself while Atom and Lily try to reach me, I quickly formed a claw and took out my pistol, The thug began to charge at me again when I quickly moved to the side and slashed his side, I could see it cut through his skin but it wasn't deep enough to do massive damage, "Stupid Child, I'll kill you for that!" He yelled our as he charged right towards me again, I quickly moved to the side but he was too quick for me and finally managed to pommel me down to the floor, he began to raise his fist as if he was about to slam me, I dropped my pistol so I wouldn't be able to shoot at him and I tried slashing him but somehow he withstood deep cuts to his chest, "Die!" He yelled out but just before he could break my entire rib-cage, a black wisp began floating around the thug's head, it turned out to be Atom flying around his face like a fly, he began to swat at Atom thinking he was just some tiny mosquito but with no avail, suddenly he gets pricked by a taser gun, I look to see Lily right there with the Taser gun I gave her, the thug went unconscious from the voltage, I quickly grabbed by pistol and shot a round into his head making sure he was down for the count.

"Took y'all long enough" I angrily said to the two, "Sorry Oliver but luckily I could sense you calling my name." Atom apologized, "Alright, lets finally confront this killer once and for all.", We approached the main office of the base and forced the door open, we charged in expected to find Grin Scurvy but we found... nobody, the room was empty.

We began to investigate the room thinking we'll find something but we found nothing at all, suddenly we hear a TV get turned on, the screen was playing a video with Grin on it, "My, My, My." The recording of Grin said, "Looks like our heroes were so close to their mission of trying to capturing me, too bad I was one step ahead." Grin mocked us, "I managed to take all my thugs and we're going to start anarchy in Crimson Avenue." I look over to see Lily's face in shock, "and Oliver, if you're hearing this, I'll make sure its just like the Great Disappearance all over again, maybe if I'm lucky I can finally kill you and that school girl." The recording said, I got mad, so mad in fact that broke the TV screen before the video could finish, "Oliver, we need to get over there quick!" Lily yelled out, "I know, we need to get going right now." I told Lily and Atom, we began to dash to Crimson Avenue, we ran through the base and quickly headed to the exit.

"Lets take the Monorail, it's at the station already." Atom said as we quickly boarded the train, "Next Stop, Crimson Station, Please stand clear of the closing door." The intercom said as the monorail began to move, "Oliver, what are we going to do?" Lily asked, I had to think for moment, "We get there and try to save as many people as possible, make sure to take down anyone that tries to hurt anyone, once thats done we're going to find Grin Scurvy and take him down once and for all." I informed the team on a plan I had to make up instantly, "I hope this works." Atom worryingly said, I couldn't stop thinking about what Grin said, how he'll make sure it'll end up like the Great Disappearance, it was bringing back memories... really, really bad memories... my legs gave out as I kept thinking of it, "Oliver?!" Lily yelled out concerned about me, "Do not worry about me, its just minor PTSD" I explained to her, I kept thinking about the great disappearance, my friends, it was waves after waves of bad memories hitting me, I felt weak momentarily, like I wouldn't be able to do anything about it.

"Do not freight" The dark voice from yesterday suddenly reassured me, "I will make sure nothing of the sorts happens." A dark voice said to me, I look around to see if Lily or Atom said anything but they look silent thinking deeply right now, it was the same voice that I heard on the couch, "The more anger you build up, the more likely you'll be able to summon it." The Dark voice informed me, "that is all I can reveal until the time is right." It said as the voice went away, I didn't want to question it thinking Atom can subconsciously communicate to me... but I dont recall every hearing Atom's voice so deep, all we could do was wait as the Train arrived to Crimson Avenue.
