Gold and Red Descend

A blur of gold and crimson red crash-landed on a beach. The force behind the crash caused waves to rise tens of metres into the sky.

"Hehehe! How does it feel like to become a mortal, bitch!?" The crimson-haired girl asked with a sadistic giggle.

"I could ask you the same thing. How does it feel like to burn your cultivation, just to keep up with me?" The blonde goddess asked with a tired look. The pair were bloody and worn down. They have been fighting each other for days now. 

Since they were poisoned, the only way to keep up was to burn down their cultivation. Since Qianye Ying'er originally had higher cultivation than Xing Tong, the crimson haired was thankful that she stabbed her dantian.

But this doesn't mean that her cultivation will instantly disappear. Divine Masters have simply too much Profound Energy to instantly disappear. 

"It feels just perfect! This Princess is going to make some extra holes in your body before leaving!"

"You said the same thing every single day. Don't you think it's about time you learn some new words?"

Murder flicked through the crimson-haired girl's eyes as she lunged forward. 

The blonde dodged to the side as she tried to swing her sword, but it was starting to get heavy. It was the same with the Slaughter God. Her speed has been rapidly falling. 

This made the pair look like they were playing in the water instead of trying to stab each other.

"You are getting slow. I am disappointed, Slaughter God."

"Shut up! Stand still for this Princess! Let me stab you a few more times!"

*Snort*

"You are just like your brother. Sooo honest!"

At that moment, something snapped inside Xing Tong as her hair glowed red. she was about to ignite her lifeforce to unleash one more attack, which would have turned the blonde to ashes.

But at that moment, barriers manifested around them.

"Hmm?"

"Locals?"

More and more barriers appeared as the pair saw a small army of old men.

'Those are… Sovereign Profound?'

When was the last time the pair saw people in mortal realms!?

Xing Tong clicked her tongue as she saw walls appear between her and Qianye Ying'er.

At that moment, she narrowed her eyes and tried to assess the situation. It appears she has not enough strength to stab through this.

With a sigh, the girl dropped her weapons. 

"What do we have here? People from the Heavens. I am interested in your story. However, seeing my grandson takes priority. So you two will be coming with me." 

The woman's voice descended on their pair as they looked at the sky.

'Half Step Divine Origin…

Doubtful if she can reach the next step. Her bloodline is not potent enough.

Hmm, can I use this situation to leave this mortal realm?' 

The blonde thought to herself as she floated out of the water and sat down midair while crossing her legs, starting to stabilise her cultivation as well.

Being a late Monarch, she can't remember when she was in such a situation.

Not that this can help her! Her wound is not healing at all. And her cultivation is slowly leaving her!

While Xing Tong followed suit and started to float as well, the Princess crossed her legs and proceeded to stabilise her cultivation as well.

Though the issue now is that she is not burning her cultivation to hold back the poison, it is  starting to spread out through her body at an alarming rate!

'Heh…I wonder if we survive long enough to have a conversation.

Xing Tong thought with fury in her eyes. However, she is worried about what will happen to her little sister. 

Not that she has the power to do anything anymore!

Qu Fengyi, the Sovereign of the Seas, was about to leave to see her grandson. She was thinking of making a pit stop in Navy Tide Nation and picking up the Princess of Navy Tide. The girl is beautiful. She was just in her twenties and in the early [Sky Profound] realm.

But then, as if the heavens smiled on her, two beings crashed not far from their Supreme Ocean Palace.

It's a form of the barrier which is cast by Purifying Profound Energy.

These walls emit energy which stalls and dissolves poison, impurities, and other things.

"What a potent poison. Don't allow them to die! Stabilise the barriers and make the purifying energy flood the interior!" 

"Yes! Sovereign!"

"Good! We are leaving! Let's go see Long'er; maybe he has the means to deal with this poison!"

"What do you think, Lou'er?" Feng Tianwei asked his grandson.

The retired Emperor was now back to ruling full-time. The Monarch is training his replacement at the same time.

He has his eyes on Feng Xilou—the greatest talent of the young generation, apart from Feng Xue'er. 

However, the retired Emperor saw that the Prince was a spoiled brat who never lost in a fight before. 

That changed after the retired Emperor made him lose multiple fights. 

Now the boy was more level-headed.

"You doubt the Black Moon Merchant Guild?"

"But, with the revelations of Phoenix Trials and more Phoenix blood. We need to get some of it." Feng Tianwei said with a frown as he was wondering what else his Empire could offer.

"Then we should start our preparations? Grandfather?"

"Yes. I will visit Xue'er and tell her what is going on."

The Star God Princess gazed through the window as she looked at the floating island. Her eyes scanned the buildings on this floating landmass. 

'What is with this Star Realm? How do they manage the flow of profound energy like this?

'Is it because of how little profound energy they have, that these people learned how to use them in the best way possible?'

Her eyes and senses, even though severely diminished, picked up how the Profound energy was being used around these two floating land masses. 

"How fascinating. It appears this is our destination."

"...Shut up. No one asked for you to talk." 

"...Poor me, I thought we started to become friends after spending this much time together." The blond teased the girl. This has been her favourite thing for the past few days. Making the girl see red and start a frenzy. 

The blonde is pretty sure everyone here thinks the redhead is insane and feral.

"In your dreams! Mortal Bitch!"

"Says the Mortal little girl." 

"Ahhhh!!!"

The redhead dashed and tried to stab the barrier walls, which made her bounce off. At that moment, the Star God Princess instantly got suppressed and made to lay on the ground. 

Qianye Ying'er grinned from ear to ear. This has been the fifth time in the past 6 hours.

Oh, how she loves to see this girl just get pressed down to the ground. 

'Where she belongs.'

"Damn… you…" 

A few more minutes later, the profound arc arrived at its destination.

The group which captured her and the blonde menace brought them out. The elders kept them sealed in the barriers.

To greet this group, a young man arrived, followed by a group of Overlords and Monarchs.

"Grandmother, what a pleasant surprise."

"Hmm, I had to come to visit you even if you planned to visit me in a few more years. Though with your speed, it would be even shorter.

"Your Grandmother is not used to making meetings this often."

"Then, I apologise for my rapid speed in cultivation." 

"Ha! No need! I was just thinking of getting you another princess as a gift, but I found these two along the way."

The leading woman pointed at Xing Tong and Qianye Ying'er. The pair were looking closely at the two.

Their eyes, more specifically, were on the teen.

'WHAT is he? Why are fire and water in harmony inside of him!?'

'He has no bloodline but the potency of Profound Energy….' 

The pair thought one thing, this mortal was an anomaly!

"...Oh my. Grandmother, they are not from around here, are they?" 

"You are right about that. The pair crash-landed not far from our Supreme Ocean Palace. People said they fell from the sky."

"I see. So the Realm of Gods."

"Indeed."

"So you know who we are, and yet you keep me like this?" The blonde bitch said with a haughty tone.

"Shut up, you mortal bitch. Listen up; This Princess is the Crown Princess of the Star God Realm. If you can help me with this poison in Some way, I can help you reach the realms above [Sovereign Profound].

*Snort*

"I will have to decline. Whatever you say can be false information. You two have crash-landed here with falling cultivations.

"There is no reason for us to believe anything.

"You two, are maybe even exiled people from your 'Star Realm'."

"...YOU! How dare you question this Princess!" The crimson head snapped at the Young Master, who was not bought over. The blonde even looked curious at this man.

"More importantly, how dare you raise your voice in front of me." As he said that, he looked at the pair of elders who were keeping the barriers active.

"Release them. I am interested in the poison."

*Snort*

"This poison can even kill Gods! Do you think you can mess with it!?"

"Of course. It appears your Gods are weak. The poison is two-layered. It attacks the soul and body at the same time. So regular detoxification is meaningless as the soul rots away anyway; if you try to fix up just the body part, it will flare up and spread out again."

He said, rolling his eyes as he looked at the redhead.

"First, you need to separate the soul poison from the body poison. Once that is done, it won't be an issue."

After saying that, he motioned for the elders to release them. The pair of Monarchs followed his command and the barriers vanished.

The very next second, with a hand motion, new walls appeared and then surrounded the pair; on these walls, texts manifested.

'Barrier arts. He is using Domain's ability to flood areas with his Profound energy and then cast these barriers effortlessly. But those texts.

'How meticulous is his control over Profound Energy? Even some Divine Masters struggle with this many tasks to be done at once!'

The crimson-haired girl thought to herself as she watched how she got surrounded and the purifying energy returned with force! Greater force than those Monarchs could release!

"Follow me. I will heal them up. Then we can have some tea." The Young Master said to his Grandmother, who was watching this with a curious gaze.

"You have grown powerful, Long'er! Your Supreme Ocean Arts are exquisite!"

"Un. It has been one of my favourite arts. I have been making arrays, formations and many more based on these."

As the pair were talking, Xing Tong saw how the blonde nearly licked her lips when she saw him.

'That Mortal Bitch has found her next victim! Sad for you, this princess knows your game!'

The Crimson haired princess narrowed her eyes. She won't allow this guy to fall for the blonde's charms.

As the pair walked into the grounds, which appeared to be some sort of clan grounds, The pair inside the barriers had to follow.

'The barriers keep the poison at bay, but can he detoxify this?' The redhead thought as she concentrated on trying to suppress the sluggish poison. Whatever this specific Profound energy is, it's quite potent.

The golden eyes followed the man walking in front of her. Her curiosity peaked when she sensed his profound energy and the potency she was feeling.

'My oh my… it appears my luck is not that bad! Nine Profound Exquisite Body. All I have to do is set the ritual and dual Cultivate with him. 

'He even healed my wounds. So nice of him.'

The blonde eyes widened as she FELT something in the distance.

"So this is it? The reborn Divine Phoenix?" The woman asked her grandson, the blonde listening in closely.

"Yes. I persuaded the remnant Phoenix spirit to perform a rebirth."

"...How did you even make that? What kind of egg did you use to cause the rebirth?"

"It's a regular [Earth Profound] beast egg. To hold the weight of the phoenix's soul, I cast a series of Profound Arrays. Think of it like a soul container. 

" For many beings, the soul dictates how it looks. You can understand that even in the realm of Throne. If you die, your soul will be left behind. And when you possess another body, that body's cultivation will rapidly return to the realm the spirit was before.

"Based on this, set Yin or soul-based runes on the egg. When the soul enters the egg, the runes kick in and start developing the egg to fit the soul.

"To make it more stable, the runes use Phoenix's cultivation to adjust it. The process itself drains the Phoenix's cultivation. This way, it turns into a proper embryo."

As he explained, he let the woman hold the Phoenix egg.

"I have been adjusting this area to make it in perfect condition for Fire Profound Beasts to grow."

"Incredible… if this is going to hatch…then no one will be our opponent in the entire continent!" 

"We don't even need to have opponents, Grandmother. Once the Divine Phoenix Empire bows to us, the rest of the continent will follow suit.

"I even have special pills ready. You should see them. It will help you reach the next stage, possibly."

Qianye Ying'er watched the Phoenix egg with greedy eyes. This was a literal Divine Beast reborn!

The blonde nodded at her words. She agreed with the busy part!

"Basic arrays make the basic pills which are shipped to Black Moon Merchant Guild and Supreme Ocean Palace.

"The production of  the three main pills is automated here. What I wanted to show you is this."

As he said that, he walked to the side and picked up a red pill from a bowl.

'What unique aura… it's like it tickles the senses? What is it?'

"You asked me to work on purifying grass some more, so I did and came up with this."

'Something is moving inside the pill!'

The blonde almost implanted her head in the barrier wall as she wanted to see what it was.

"This is?"

"Soul purifying pill."

"!!!"

"I realise that there are three key factors in cultivating. Body, Soul and the Bloodline." 

"We have mastered the purity of the body, which gave us the Heavenly God's Spiritual Veins. Next is the soul's purity and bloodline's potency.

"We can see that from our guests. They are from beyond the heavens, and their look tells us that their bloodlines are potent to affect their looks like that."

"Smart. You are wasted on this small rock. Help me recover, and I will give you whatever resources you want. My father is Brahma Heaven Emperor. My Star Realm takes any talented individuals and lets them reach their potential. I can personally vouch for your talent." The golden beauty said with a beautiful smile.

This was the part where she should have him under her thumb. How many beings saw her smile? They follow her just by looking at her shadow.
