Chapter 10: Array Formations

Meanwhile Alex, who was just seeing the water fall from the top of the mountain was completely blinded by it's beauty. 

'I never saw a waterfall outside my phone, and this is freaking awesome. I guess views like this are pretty common in this world as there isn't that much modernization in this world yet.'

'I guess I just developed a new hobby, I want to see a lot of sceneries like this. I am never gonna let this world and sceneries be ruined like the Earth in my previous life. I need to be strong enough to be able to stop the people from going the same route as humans from my previous life.'

A voice sounded behind Alex, "My Liege, I have prepared the fruits for you, kindly take a bath and consume them. Till then, I will find a Bamboo Container for holding your drinking water. I have already scared away all the beasts from this area, so there's nothing that will disturb you." said Beru.

Alex replied with a smile and said, "Alright, thanks Beru."

And Beru flew away, Alex just started to remove his clothes.

"Oh right, I only have this pair of clothes and moreover I guess there won't be any Shirt's or Pant's in this world, damn that sucks to be honest. But I guess I have to blend in with the society. For now, I will just wear them once again."

As Alex got completely naked and kept his clothes inside his inventory and went to the river under the waterfall. 

"Hmm.. now that I think about it, the clothes are actually a set of Sung Jin Woo from solo leveling, a black shirt, a black pant, a black underwear and a pair of black shoes...totally badass."

Alex went inside the river and just let his body be submerged inside it. 

"It feels great to be able to bath inside a river, hmm let's swim."

Alex started to swim and enjoy himself inside the river. The flow of the river was not very fast as the waterfall was not that strong, and rather than a river, it felt like a pond to be honest.

A few minutes later Beru returned. He took out a few bamboo containers, the size of a one liter bottle from his personal storage space, a privilege of Sovereign Profound Cultivators and placed them on the ground near the fruits he had gathered. 

Soon enough Alex was ready to come out of the bath, he saw Beru and said, "Oi Beru, turn around." and turn around Beru did.

Alex came out of the pond and wiped his body with Profound Energy and wore the same clothes again. He cleansed them with profound energy though.

Then he went ahead to feast on the fruits that looked similar to apples from his previous world.

Alex took a bite from the fruit, it was already cleansed by Beru with Profound Energy,

"Damn, they look similar to apples, but are tastier and sweeter than them. Maybe these are actually apples. Bah!, who cares, let's just eat."

And after feasting, Alex laid down under a tree, it was still morning and afternoon seemed to be approaching. Beru was also standing near Alex, continuously on the lookout. Alex summoned the Book of Cultivation and started to read the Array Formation section.

"Hmm. Let's start our study session shall we?"

Alex started to read and understand the contents of how arrays worked. He found out that at its core, an array is a carefully arranged structure that manipulates the flow of energy, harnessing it to achieve various effects, whether it be protection, attack, or support.

Arrays can influence a wide range of aspects in life, from enhancing cultivation to securing entire regions, making them indispensable in the world of cultivation.

Arrays are more than just patterns drawn on the ground; they are intricate systems that can control and redirect the natural flow of energy.

By understanding and manipulating the energy within these arrays, cultivators can create powerful barriers, amplify their attacks, or even accelerate healing processes. The significance of array formation lies in its versatility and the immense power it can bestow upon those who master it.

After around half an hour, Alex closes the book and closes his eyes, laying on the ground.

"Damn, this shit is overpowered. It actually is correct to say that knowledge is power, more like half correct since power is power but since I have both of them, I guess I am overpowered? HAHAHAHA!, Nothing to guess about it, I am overpowered."

"Anyways, jokes aside, array formation's are actually overpowered. There are different types of arrays, for example, defensive arrays, offensive arrays, support arrays and utility arrays."

"They can even be used for teleportation and healing too."

'They can be my trump cards in any of the battles. Moreover, I have only read 180 pages from the introduction part. There are still around half a million pages left to complete this book. Damn, it feels depressing to be studying even in a fantasy world.'

'But oh well, I have to do what I must do. Let's just study till hard I guess. Moreover, it seems that I have gotten something akin to photographic memory as all I did was give the pages a reading and I remember every single one."

"But it ain't actually photographic memory as it only seems to remember what I am actually trying to keep in my mind. Not that I got a problem or anything, I wouldn't really want to remember everything I see after all."

"That would really be problematic."

"I only have one complain though, Why the fuck did I not get it in my past life! I could have cleared the Bar Exam, after all not everyone is like Mike Ross."

"Well, it doesn't matter, I have been given this opportunity and I am not gonna let it go to waste. There ain't any social media here for distractions and I am not going to be chasing after the plot right now as that old coot Yun Canghai is still imprisoned means that either the story hasn't started yet or hasn't reached that point yet."

"I wanna have a bit of strength and ability first before I go and fuck with the plot and fuck the heroines. Wait that sounded wrong, let's keep it to the fucking with the plot...Ahem! for now Ahem!."
