First Day Of School

7:56am, a class was in their classroom.

They were the first class amongst the first years, purely based on their middle school results. On the first day of school, none of them knew each other and were all quite reluctant to speak. They silently awaited the teacher, looking around at the other students. There were some who stood out, perhaps more than was needed. The mood was tense and silent, too tense, too quiet.

7:58am, someone burst into the classroom.

“Time!” He shouted, a cheeky smile on his face.

He was a boy, wearing the school uniform which was completely black, to the point that the criss-cross pattern could no longer be seen. The boy also wore black pants, nothing else. He faced the class, his expression and entrance seemingly lightening the class mood. He laughed and walked to the empty seat, beside a certain classmate.
