Subsequent Fall Part 70: Shattered

All his thoughts were scattered around, he was shattered. There is no one to turn to, no one to embrace him. All the love that he felt for one person was personified into one person. He has to bear the weight that he was the one to fail them all.

Every death from this battle raced through his mind, each and every man and woman who has perished just for his interests. This entire battle was not worth it, his mind raced for no finish line as he fell to his knees as tears streamed down his face. The void was being rejected by Titan as he lifted a light charm that pushed them away from him.

All the light in his mind was gone, he dug deep inside of himself as he saw a time where they all were alive, successful before this battle. All so joyous and free from worry. The army whole and the clone commanders celebrating with each other.

Astral mentally figured out what he wanted done. 'I WANT EVERYONE BACK, EVERYONE ALIVE, AND NO ONE HURT! ALL THESE ADVENTURES LEAD TO IS PAIN!' His eyes stopped being enchanted with gold as a wave of energy left his body as he looked up at Titan. "I will finish them myself." Astral popped up as Titan smirked at him. A click was heard as Murasama bonded with Astral on this mission and goal.

Everything around Astral was frozen, why? He turned his head quickly as nothing moved, no shadows, no wind. With three slashes from his sword Titan was diced to pieces as Astral hunched down and flung himself forward with all of his power, this was just like the battle tournament. The speed and strength took no time to get to full speed. They all were defenseless.

All the colors raced through his eyes as they turned into a mosaic glass racing around his eyes trying to escape as Astral was using their power to make one final push. One lap made around the planet as the frontline was frozen, he saw Adam's vehicles he had always dream of using, their markings and design beautiful as tears kept streaming from his face.

The pain of not having him here intensified the pain of this moment as Astral made a second lap around the planet. All the pain he was taking out on the enemy as with each slice of his blade he took out legions. The planet became clear after one more pass. The general nature of his power. Each of his swings had the heavy weight of all of his emotion behind it.

Astral looked to the sky as each ship was frozen in place, no movement, no motion. Jumping up he soared through the sky and space. A single touch detonated each fighter. Astral didn't have to use all his power on the little ships as Murasama gutted each and every ship.

He glided through the bridge of every ship and decapitated every officer outside of one. This one felt different, having no fear of the situation and a bold acceptance as he looked at a picture of his wife. 'These people have families. YOU END THAT CAUSE YOU LOST YOURS?' His mind felt terrible as he flew the rest of the way out of the ship, killing everyone else.

Each and every spaceship filled with a trail of tears from him, suspended and frozen in place as they fell off his face. All the emotions crossed into his face deeply, the skin around his eyes started cracking as the colors flowed into the crevices.

'All you want is a selfish desire for yourself. What a one sided point of view.' One of the voices talked to Astral as he bursted through another engine room. All Astral felt to the comment was it being silenced by something deep down trying to lock it down.

The golden wave chased after him. Almost like it was absorbing the solar system in its energy wave. It kept spreading throughout the universe as it converged back inwards in a moment back to the Merle.

He felt the very fabric of everything that he believed in breaking, his body wearing down worse and worse the faster he went. Something deep down felt the pressure and broke. A whisper started deep down inside of him as it quietly spoke up against himself.

He knew this was it for him looking across the solar system. There was still so much to do and so much to destroy. Voices filled his head as his eyes flowed with a mosaic color. They grew louder and louder the more and more Astral killed. All of the dead rested on his consciousness.

'Kill them all!' 'All of them deserve to die!' 'You are a Failure!' 'Too slow!' 'Too weak!' 'You were not prepared.' 'You were ill advised!' All the nasty thoughts filled Astral's head as he felt like he was stretched to the limit.

'Finish them all and we can rest. They can take care of themselves.' The angelic voice in his mind quieted the others as Astral stood still for a moment. Standing on a magic circle as several other smaller ones appeared around him.

"Annihilate." Astral put his hands up as the magic circles fired several rounds of magical energy all across the solar system as a golden film was encroaching around him. The magic flew through space and shattered each and every remaining ship as Astral went limp. The golden foil did not reach in time as a detonation of colors happened.

Splitting space from its impact the explosion had: Cyan, White, Red, Blue, Lime, Gray, Green, Orange, Yellow, Pink, Purple, Black. The twelve lines split the solar system apart as their trails burned color into space itself. Astral's body drifted in space for a moment longer as with a flash of white light. He was gone and time restarted.

The golden orb pulled itself back to the Merle, Astral still had a wish after all.
