Advent of Astral Part 11: Student

"Is there any way we can rescue her?" Astral panicked, his student that he caused to be in trouble.

"Yes there is, Anders, can we see your badge, we are going to make a copy so we have clearance access, I am hacking into their cameras and systems to cause a mass shutdown of the entire building." Alexa was moving her hands through the air, accessing several key points at the same time. She scanned the badge and made a copy for Astral, who clipped it to his hoodie and was ready.

"Now how do we get there?" Astral inquired his wonderchild AI

"Anders point him in the direction he needs to fly. Driving is too slow and too far." She sighs, it's like working with a toddler.

"Right, if you will follow me, I will lead you outside, then to the FBI main building, how is he gonna fly?" Anders asked while pulling on Astral to get him outside, he would follow while holding his hand out for Alexa to keep telling the plan.

"Using your pocket dimension, you can store Anders in there for her safety. Once you are on the roof, make your way down to floor thirty five. In interrogation room seventeen, she will be there, she will only last for a couple more minutes, you better get moving. Test out your body, use it to its fullest." she spoke as they got outside.

Astral opened the pocket dimension up for Anders and she walked right through to note the experience. Astral pointed to the exact spot he needed to go. He did the math roughly in his head, it was a one thousand mile leap from the middle of the Dakotas to where the office was. He realized the kinetic energy needed to be exerted would be him jumping hard enough to break the sound barrier.

Having no other option. He dug his heels into the ground, and with three solid steps, he jumped. Launching himself far past the minimum requirement of mach ten. He would slow his descent and land on the roof in a little under three seconds of travel time. He would unlock the roof access door and blend right in. making his way down the stairs he got to floor thirty five. In the stairwell he activated his armor, and with a whirring sound it alerted a guard.

"What is that sound?" A lady asked while working from her desk.

One of the agents stepped over to the stairwell. "Tannis, I promise you it was just the wind." He would open the door, and what stood there freaked him out. Astral in his cyan and teal armor, covering his vital spots, from his chest, thighs, arms and helmet. With the black undersuit covering the joints. He would hold his sword up to the man stabbing it through his skull. The blood splashing to the desk. The girl shrieks and sets off the alarm. Astral dashes to room seventeen. Slashing the two guards protecting the room. He would kick the door in. Flying over his students head, he would barge into the room and sliced the two guards in dice sized chunks.

"Hi Hannah, sorry for the situation that I have put you in." Astral would tilt his head to the right as he offered her a hand up.

She grabs it and is hoisted up by him. "Thanks? Wait, professor is that you?" He would nod yes as he aimed his handgun into the doorframe firing three rounds taking down two men running through the door. "Do you have an escape plan?"

"You are asking someone who plans out everything. Yes. hope you aren't afraid of heights." he fired another three rounds into the glass window. "Now do you wanna leave this place or not?" She nodded yes. Hopping in his arms. He ran through the glass defending her from it and started the freefall. He opened the pocket dimension and fell into it, catching her. "See that wasn't so bad now was it?"

She sat on the ground and looked up to him as he took off his helmet. "They asked me every possible thing about you, from where you lived, to where you were. Not stopping till they got their answers." She raised her hand, as it was cracked and bloodied. "And if they didn't like their answer, they would punish me. They had their way with me. Even going to the lengths to feed me answers that they wanted to hear." Alexa scanned the wound as Astrals armor clicked back into its normal disguised self, gently grabbing her hand and summoning the materials needed to stop it from hurting. "They went as far as they wanted, they touched my entire body making sure every part was bruised." She lifted up her ripped up shirt showing the bruise on her abdomen. "It hurts to breathe. I just want to take a nap."

"Astral, she has a collapsed lung, two cracked ribs and most of the bones in her hand are broken. You can fix this. Just follow my steps." Alexa beamed over to Hannah. "Say Hannah, what is your favorite thing in the world?" Astral would be busy setting up his medical station as Anders helped.

"Well, I would say viewing the stars. It was my favorite pastime in the country, but I can no longer do it in the city though." Hannah spoke as she was laid gently down by Astral. The bed slowly went down and with a snap of Alexa's fingers, the pocket dimension became a full field of stars on a grassy meadow. "Thank you." She took a deep breath in and stared upwards to the stars. "Sir have you ever explored the stars?"

Astral, who had repaired her hand up to this point, looked over to her. "No I haven't. I may be a wise old man. But I just got these powers, and I will use them for good. What is that quote I always tell you about?" Astral would remove her shirt and cover up her top while he slowly preps the area for a deep incision.

"Knowledge is the thing that controls all, without it, people are meaningless." she would respond while her breathing would become smoother, and more consistent breaths.

"There is nothing I can do about the bruising; however, your lung is back up, and your cracked ribs are in their correct spots to not hurt as bad. As for now, take these pain pills for some relief, they aren't potent but get the job done." He smiled, running his hand through her hair.

Anders would sit next to her. "You will be fine, good child, can you tell us who hurt you?" she would ask while Astral put his suit back on. Preparing his rifle to kill everyone in there. His tone filled with a hint of rage.

"Well, what I will say is that they almost took my virginity, they were abusing me and felt like that would be the only way to psychologically break me." Hannah sighed, "As for who attacked me. Most of that building did. All of them in there currently did. So, have your way, and mark your place as a history professor." She put her hands up, seeming more cheery than when she started talking.

"History is written by the victors, and this time, it's truly the good side prevailing." He was beyond angered, he was enraged, all that was on his mind was taking this FBI building. He waved goodbye as he fell back into the real world. He would enter from where he was falling from. Landing in front of the office causing a crater. Using high grade C4 he would enter the building and plant it all along the support beams, prepping for the building to collapse inward on itself. With each placement of the explosives he got closer to the goal he had. Take all of these evil people out. He planted over a ton of c4. And when he backed away a city block. He detonated it. The explosion leveled the first floor and let it all collapse in on itself. Everyone in there would hopefully die from the rubble. Astral would start his slow walk to campus, he has to go into the gradebook. to make sure everyone passes, as well as show the power of history and knowledge.

After a two day hike around two hundred miles. He let Hannah out of the pocket dimension as he wrote in his grade book. "I sadly will not be able to keep on teaching, and after this semester, I will not be here, make sure to inform everyone. Tell them I have a bigger issue at hand and that all of them are getting A's for the rest of the semester." He wrote a letter to the school's dean while Hannah looked at him.

"Sir, you know, I feel like giving you something special in return. You saved my life. I would like to repay it by, well, er." She would be at a loss of words for even suggesting what she was thinking.

"Hannah, you are a great woman and a very intelligent one at that. You need to learn one final thing." Astral would look up to see her in very loose and revealing clothing. "Any good man worth having in your life will not take advantage of someone when they are emotionally vulnerable. Which you are, I will apologize for not taking you up on your offer, I am a man who loves to love and care for people." He put his hand on her chin, lifting it up to look into her eyes. "The way you can repay me is by just informing everyone else in my classes for the next week. Also give that kid who is attached to your side a chance. I feel like he would give the world to be by your side."

Hannah was at a loss for words, she got up and hugged him, crying softly as she spoke. "Thank you, for everything, your students will miss you." Astral embraced the hug and stood up. Lifting her up with him standing.

"It is a good thing I care for you all, I am leaving this class in a perfect state." He let go of her and took a step back. "I need to go into hiding now, if any students have a parting letter, tell them to leave it in my desk on the top drawer." He would vanish into thin air in front of her, she would nod and leave his office, after about twenty minutes he would come back into the light of the world. "That cloak works well. I have to make a more suitable version for those not in armor. Other cooler things I should also make." He would start to scribble down some ideas on how to enhance his armor. While lost in thought Anders would come out of the pocket dimension.
