The first rays of dawn pierced through the dense foliage of the Azure Mountains, illuminating the verdant landscape in a soft, golden hue. High atop one of the mountain's peaks, a figure lay sprawled on the ground, unconscious and battered. As the sunlight caressed his face, his eyes fluttered open, revealing a pair of piercing blue irises.
The cold wind that swept through the passage carried with it a sense of foreboding, yet also a promise of revelation. Tian Feng and Mei Ling pressed on, each step taken with the knowledge that they were drawing closer to the heart of their quest. The path ahead was illuminated by the golden light emanating from the Heart of the Mountain, casting long shadows on the walls of the narrow passage.
After what seemed like hours, the passage widened into a grand cavern, its ceiling lost in darkness and its walls adorned with intricate carvings that glowed faintly. At the far end of the cavern, an immense set of double doors stood, their surface inlaid with ancient symbols and radiant with a soft, inviting light.
"The Temple of Light," Tian Feng murmured, awe evident in his voice. Mei Ling nodded silently beside him, her eyes fixed on the magnificent doors. They approached cautiously, their footsteps echoing in the vastness of the cavern.
