Travis stood at the edge of the clearing, looking at the artificial turf, which unknowingly displayed the full size of the base underneath it.
"They are never going to stop," he sighed, not bothering to look over at Garrett, who stood right behind them.
"They will when you take them all out," shrugged the wolf, not really caring one way or the other. Even if it took them a few more decades, the S.G.M would eventually eradicate them. "It's like a mouse trap. As long as they keep catching one mouse at a time, you know you are making a dent in the population."
Travis spun around so fast that even Garrett wasn't able to keep up with his motion. Gripping the other shifter's neck, Travis' vision turned red.
"You will never, ever speak like that again. Have I made myself clear?" the alpha growled low. Garrett's body vibrated with his words, turning his face pale.
