Vol. 05 Ch. 12 – My Angel Bear

{Bepo's POV}

I don't know where this is and I don't know how I got here. I thought for a while that I was dead and this is heaven for bears. All kinds of bears are here, from grizzly bears to teddy bears. The weather was sunny with a cool breeze swaying the leaves, green grass that stretched between the trees, and what was most surprising was the flowing honey river glittering in the sunshine. As I walked closer to the honey river, I even saw some salmon hopping on the current. But what made me the most surprised was that suddenly someone pushed me into the river and almost drowned me.

Bepo: "Burp ... please ... burp ... I'm drowning." I have swept away and screamed for help.

As hard as I tried to swim to the river bank, I was still being swept away and kept sinking deeper and deeper. Just when I was about to give up, that's when I saw a figure like an angel helping me out of the honey river.

???: "Are you okay? How can you drown in this shallow river? "

Bepo: "...?" Hearing her question made me immediately realized because I can stand in this shallow river.

???: "Get out of there before all your fur is sticky." The first time I saw a bear as beautiful as her that made me stunned.

Because I was too shocked by her beautiful face, I just stood there silently without making a sound. For quite a long time I didn't answer and was still stunned until I realized it with the slap on my cheek so many times that I felt my cheeks hurt.

Bepo: "OUCH !?"

???: "Finally you made a sound. I thought something's wrong with you. Why are you drowning in a shallow river? "

Bepo: "Sorry, but I previously felt that I couldn't do anything about it and the honey water kept getting into my mouth and almost made me die." I was immediately depressed ashamed because I drowned in the shallow river.

???: "As long as you are okay. Did you just get here? My name is XXX. " She seemed to introduce herself but I couldn't hear her name.

Bepo: "Sorry, I can't clearly hear your name. My name is Bepo. " Even though I can't hear her name but I still introduce myself.

???: "Sit there, I'll get a towel for you." This lovely bear asked me to sit down and I was happy to approach the seat.

Bepo: "Ueegh…" The stench immediately attacked my nose and made me feel like vomiting.

???: "What's wrong with you? I hope you are not very sick. " Oh ... how happy I am when there is a beautiful bear like her who worries about me.

Bepo: "Sorry, I'm fine. I just smelled something bad and now… it's gone. " Every time I saw her and heard her sweet voice it stunned me and it took me time to answer.

???: "I'll be right back and get a towel, sit here." The lovely bear left and I looked at her pretty back and sat on the chair.

Bepo: "OUCH !?" I immediately stood up and screamed because I felt like a sword had pierced my butt as I sat down.

I checked the chair that I just sat on and there was nothing there, everything looked normal. But I can still clearly feel the pain in my ass even though there is no wound there. I turned right and left to check the surroundings, nothing strange. Lots of cool bears chatting and hanging out but nothing suspicious. Afraid that something would go wrong with this chair made me decide to stay standing and leaning against the tree.

Bepo: "OUCH !?" I jumped away from the tree behind me because I felt a large fork stabbing at my back.

Again, I checked my surroundings and there was nothing suspicious. Has Baby-5 make herself invisible and been teasing me for a while? I panicked more and more about what was happening and I started to feel the hot wind hitting me, these weird situations make me run towards my angel bear earlier. I saw a blinding light in front of me but I kept running from this strange place and suddenly everything was dark.

{End of Bepo's POV}

While Athena was still flying using [Reject] to escape from Impel Down and the pursuit of the Marines, Arthur already understood what happened to Bepo. This poor white bear received Robin's voice attack while trying the power of Siren until he was knocked unconscious and couldn't be awakened by any means the ART Pirates members had tried. After understanding why Bepo is like this, Arthur can immediately think of several possibilities to wake Bepo.

Arthur: "If Baby-5 says that there are no obvious problems or injuries on Bepo's body then the first possibility is that the sound of Siren attacks the brain and nerves in Bepo's body. And I hope this is the case because it's easier to deal with. The next possibility I thought of was the sound of the Siren attacking Bepo's soul itself. Although I'm happy if Robin has this ability but it will be more difficult to overcome. " Arthur shared his thoughts with others about Bepo's condition.

Robin: "Then what can you think of to wake Bepo up?" Robin asks as she feels a little guilty for what happened.

Arthur: "Ikaros, shoot Bepo with the taser gun."

Ikaros: "Yes, father." Receiving Arthur's order immediately made Ikaros point her index finger like a gun and turned into a taser gun ready to shoot.

Without hesitation, Ikaros immediately shot Bepo because she believed what Arthur ordered. The probe and cable immediately flew towards Bepo and caused Bepo to receive an electric shock, causing his body to emit smoke.

Arthur: "Ikaros, the voltage is too high and stop it right away. Baby-5! " Baby-5, who was still behind the wheel, immediately ran and knew what to do when Arthur called out her name.

Bepo: "Ugh…" For the first time, Bepo reacted after he was unconscious.

Baby-5: "The wound is not that serious and it looks like he'll be conscious in a moment."

Bepo: "My angels bear ..." Bepo who was still not fully conscious was delirious and began to open his eyes.

Arthur: "Was your dream beautiful, Bepo?" Seeing Bepo who had opened his eyes and turned right and left to check the situation made Arthur immediately ask.

Bepo: "Captain? Ugh… I can't move my body and I feel pain all over my body. " Bepo, who was already aware, immediately felt his body like being stabbed and struck by lightning so he could not move.

Baby-5: "[Fairy Dust]" Baby-5 immediately uses its power to speed up Bepo's body to heal.

Robin: "So, what do you know about my new power, Arthur?" Robin needs some idea from Arthur about her power so she doesn't repeat this kind of accident again.

Arthur: "I'm not sure, we need more experiments about your power to get the detail. Law, take Bepo to his room and let him rest. Betty, come with me, I'll calling Dragon's Denden Mushi. " After the Bepo problem was resolved, everything was back to normal with their respective activities.

Belo Betty immediately followed Arthur to the communication room where many kinds of Denden Mushi were stored there. Arthur manages to contact Dragon and he will drop Belo Betty on the Sabaody Archipelago. Dragon also asked why Arthur took so long and was surprised after hearing Arthur's answer but immediately changed with a laugh because he imagined the problems faced by the Marines and World Government.
