Vol. 03 Ch. 05 – Division Captains

Whitebeard: "Marco, this one is different."

Whitebeard releases out his Haoshoku to test Arthur make Arthur also release out his Haoshoku. This clash makes everyone around feel pressure from Arthur and Whitebeard. Hancock felt pressured because of Whitebeard's Haoshoku even though she far away and had defends it with her own Haoshoku. Meanwhile, Marco and the other Whitebeard pirate crews were surprised to see Arthur who was able to stand and even counterattacked their father's Haoshoku and made the weak crew freeze motionless. Arthur stepped slowly because he had to focus his mind on defending from Whitebeard's Haoshoku. He ended up not far in front of Whitebeard and took out a 2-meter high bottle of Whiskey and threw it to Whitebeard.

Whitebeard: "Huft ... not bad, little boy."

Arthur: "Sorry. I have not yet introduced myself, my name is Phantasm D Arthur, and my purpose is to come here as I said, I want to challenge you."

Whitebeard: "It's still too fast for you if you want to challenge me."

Arthur: "Even so I will still want to fight you."

Marco: "Oi, damn brat, Father told you that you still don't deserve to fight him before you win from all of us." The division captains stepped forward to block Arthur in front of Whitebeard.

Baby-5: "You also have a small child among you." Baby-5 points to the captain of the 12th division, Haruto.

Robin: "They're someone who is male or female unclear." This time Robin quipped the 16th division captain, Izo.

Haruto + Izo: "Huh? Asking to get beat up, you damn kid? Come here. "

Robin who was aiming for Izo's feet failed because Izo immediately jumped because feel the attack from Robin. The four of them jumped from Moby Dick to the port of Foodvalten Island and continued the fight. Baby-5 and Haruto fought a melee fight with swords and knives. While Robin is more focused on using [Tobu Shigan] and [Rankyaku] where Izo can avoid it easily and respond to launch his attacks with 2 pistols.

Hancock: "Then who is my opponent?"

Marco: "Little girl, you better move aside, father asked me to test this damn boy." Marco steps toward Arthur but is stopped by Hancock.

Hancock: "[Tempest Femur]" Hancock sent a sidekick to Marco's head coated Busoshoku and lightning sparks but could be parried by Marco.

Marco: "Oi, Oi, that's dangerous, I could be seriously injured, you know." Marco glanced sideways where Hancock made an annoyed voice.

Hancock: "Tch, don't lie, Marco the Phoneix."

Marco just smiled and turned his hands into blue wings of fire to attack Hancock but Hancock immediately jumped back after seeing Marco's body change. Marco flew through the air with his blue wings of fire and looked at Arthur and Hancock.

Marco: "You two can attack me."

Hancock: "Ho ... having wings is indeed beneficial, why did I forget your advice at the time, Arthur." Hancock closed her eyes, she focused on the clouds that appeared on her back and turned into wings.

Arthur: "At that time you did not care about my advice, could you use it because this is the first time you have made wings from your devil fruit abilities."

Hancock did not answer Arthur but still focused her mind on her wings and after opening her eyes she tried to flap her wings. Seeing her not moving, Hancock decided to stop the fluttering of her wings and focus more to make the wings cloud float so that she managed to fly in the air. Because this was the first time Hancock had a battle in the air, she could not show 100% of her abilities. Hancock must divide her attention between her fight with Marco and her wings. Because she felt more disadvantaged because she had not yet mastered the wings, she decided to use [Geppo] and focus on her attacks.

Arthur: "So ... will we fight too?" After seeing Hancock, Robin and Baby-5 able to defend against Whitebeard's division captain, Arthur turned his attention to the rest of the existing division captains.

Jozu: "If you want to fight father, then you have to pass us all." Diamond Jozu stepped forward and turned one of his arms into a diamond to take a position ready to fight.

Arthur: "Sigh ... [Art's Room]."

Feeling something was wrong with their surroundings, Whitebeard's pirate division captain immediately moved but was still slower than Arthur's attack. They all attacked Arthur, but one by one when their attack was hold down by Arthur and made them immobile for a moment, Arthur had the opportunity to change their bodies with the ability of his devil fruit. One by one the Whitebeard pirate division captains turned into Lego-Man because they all still had consciousness and could move their puppet bodies, they moved away from the battlefield. The last standing of the division captain is Diamond Jozu and Flower Sword Vista. Jozu turned his entire body into a diamond and covered it with Busoshoku Haki, while Vista cut Arthur's transparent cloud which could change the body of his friends.

Jozu: "This devil fruit is very annoying in battle."

Vista: "Without a body like you and the ability to get rid of transparent clouds which can change our bodies like everyone else."

Arthur: "So you two will be my opening battle."

Arthur pulled out his tonfa-sword and played it by twirling it in his right hand. Arthur immediately used all his ability to give a blow to Jozu's body and make Jozu thrown off the deck of the Moby Dick ship. Vista who saw Jozu thrown away, he decided to use all his abilities too. Slash after slash occurred and the sound of swords clashing was heard throughout the deck of the ship. Arthur was able to put pressure on Vista, but Vista's battle experience helped him to defend against Arthur. All of this made Arthur realize how important the battle experience was. Jozu, who had returned to the deck of the ship, joined Arthur and Vista in the fight. With the help of Jozu, Vista was able to counterattack Arthur. But with the Kenbunshoku Haki that Arthur had it all was useless. One of Vista's swords was thrown and made him off guard so that Arthur was able to turn Vista's body into a Lego-Man like the others. Now only Jozu and Arthur fight on the deck of the ship. Because Jozu's defense that Arthur recognized was very strong, Arthur began to use Haoshoku Haki in each of his attacks.

This fight continues until the sun begins to set. Arthur was finally able to make Jozu exhausted to use Busoshoku in his entire body so that Arthur managed to turn his body into a Lego-Man which ended Arthur's fight. For the other 3 girls, Baby-5 lost after she ran out of stamina against Hotaru all day. Her 11-year-old body is unable to keep up with her spirit which still hasn't given up on Hotaru. Although Baby-5 can cure illness and wounds, but she is unable to restore stamina directly. Robin managed to defeat Izo with the ability of her devil fruit to allow attacking from the blind point of Izo's eyes when he was caught off guard. Robin created many hands around the place of battle and continued to send [Tobu Shigan] to create that opportunity. But that does not mean she did not receive a wound, because it looks blood flowing on her forehead. As for Hancock experiencing the same case with Baby-5, she lost because Marco's fighting experience was very much and had high stamina. Although Hancock lost she managed to give a wound on Marco's body that is said to be immortal because of the phoenix flame. Robin uses the ability of her devil fruit to grow legs in Baby-5 and Izo's bodies to bring them back to the ship. Hotaru who was surprised when he saw many feet grow from Baby-5's body moving her back to ship, Hotaru decided to return to Moby Dick too. Hancock returned to Moby Dick walking on her own two feet following Marco who was in front of her. Marco, Hotaru, Hancock, and Robin who returned to Moby Dick were surprised to see the situation on the ship's deck.

Whitebeard: "Finally you are back, Gurarara."
