The Suitcase

Before dawn brake I was already on my way, it did not feel right to wait until morning. But I guess he knew, He had left some money and a note on the table, and a little button phone which will help me get back home. It was hard getting a ride back home but eventually I did. The first place I went to was where I had hidden the suitcase, its an old farm that was owned by a family I knew, I used to play here with there son, we loved each other even though we were very young to know what love was. when I got to that place, old memories flashed back, the memories of his departure, I could clearly hear his voice echoing in my ears "Arsinoe, wait for me okay when i finish school I will came back and marry you, but for now take this, this will remind you of my love, please wait for me."

He was only thirteen by then and I was only nine years old, to me it felt like forever and I told myself, "he has forgotten about me." I pushed back all those memories and went inside the farm, 'I sure am a clever person' I told myself, I mean Who would have ever thought I could have hid the suitcase here. when I got to the suitcase, I stared at it for a while, thinking of what might have really been inside that made all those people torture me so badly. so I decide to open It, it better hold something valuable that I can use or else I will kill Mr Ben if we ever meet again. so I took my chances and opened the suitcase and I nearly fainted. where in the world did Mr Ben secure all this, now I understand why those men wanted this suitcase, I am literally panicking right now "what in the world did I get myself into, and what will I possibly do with all this money without being suspected by the authorities?" thoughts keep rushing in so I composed myself and found somewhere to sit so I could think everything through.

"its been how long again, ooh yes its been 5 years, 5 long years how can a small little girl just disappear from your radar like she never existed how is that even possible, how incompetent" I can not believe that a small girl can be that clever really. "Mr Yoshida we think that she might really be dead, I doubt if she is alive?" my problem was the money until I found out who had the money, that's when my focus changed from finding the money to finding the girl. She was my Arsinoe, its been seventeen years since the last time I saw her. Five years ago at the bridge I was shocked on seeing her upon my arrival at the bridge but even before seeing me she choose death. so I kept thinking to myself "would she have chosen life if she knew it was I. "I want all of you to find her and if you won't then consider yourselves dead." I went back for her seven years ago but sge had already left and now, I will find her at all cost.
