Weird behaviour ( Mi Chan, Li Zinhuo)

PRESENT

Mi Chan woke up the morning next day. She was really tired when she came back. She didn't even get a proper rest after that night. She didn't know why, she couldn't get the memories of the man out of her head. She had met him after almost two years and he had left a deep impact on her. In her life, the man was not important and the most important at the same time.

She gulped slightly, what was this feeling. Even thinking about him made her heart flutter. Why was that? She walked to the closet in her room, and she found her things already in place. She smiled lightly. She picked up her purse and searched through it. She found her white diamond earring. Her heart skipped a beat, she received this as a gift. She started looking for the other one.

But she failed to find it. She was getting anxious. It was really important for her to find that earring. A sad and disappointed expression was cast on her face, when she couldn't find it. She smiled disappointedly, what was this empty feeling?

Her brain was in a mess then. She has been with Wang Zhao for four years but then why the Man still bothered her. Why was he on her mind now? Has he changed, that is why? Or is it that for the first time, she had noticed his actions for her? Another sigh left her lips," what are you thinking Mi Chan. You're getting engaged next week. You've finally found a person to love who leads a way normal life. That's exactly what you wanted."

She assured herself and decided to freshen up. She was more relaxed and could think more clearly after taking a bath. Wearing a bathrobe she stepped out of the bathroom. Her heart skipped a beat from surprise when she saw Wang Zhao staring at her intensely. She didn't know why, she wasn't comfortable all of a sudden. She secured her hands around her chest as her wet hair sticked to her face lightly.

He smiled at her and walked to her. She gulped when he tucked the wet strands behind her ear and kissed her head. She closed her eyes trying to force herself to calm down. He squinted," what's wrong? You don't seem comfortable." She blinked," aaah! I am just slightly shocked, Wasn't expecting you."

Wrapping her arms around his waist, she smiled," I missed my future hubby!" He chucked and patted her back, propping his chin on the top of her head due to their height difference. She smelled the most soothing and comforting to him. He felt all the stress leave his body when he hugged her. It was just her presence that soothed his heart.

She looked up," let me change. Wait here." He nodded his head pecking her lips lightly. Mi Chan smiled and walked back to the closet. After she was done, both of them headed downstairs. On the dining table, there were almost all the family members. Mr and Mrs Wang, Wang Yuhan, now joining them were, Wang Zhao and Mi Chan.

Mi Chan greeted everyone whereas Wang Zhao smacked Wang Yuhan's head and took a seat beside him. Mi Chan sitting beside Mrs Wang. Mr Wang smiled at them," I see Mi Chan has turned even more beautiful." Mi Chan smiled broadly," Thank you Dad, You haven't aged a day. If I say that, It would have been a lie."

Mrs Wang let out a loud laugh where as Wang Zhao and Yuhan were not surprised by her bold statement. They were used to it, it has been long since she was a part of this family now. Mr Wang himself chuckled," I guess you still haven't change. Well never mind."

Wang Zhao placed stuffed his mouth with food shaking his head side to side. Mi Chan also filled her own plate and started jamming on the food. Wang Yuhan smiled at her," No one is taking away your food Mi Chan, eat slower please." She looked up dumbfounded," Am I really eating too fast?" Wang Zhao shook his head," Not really, he is just messing with you."

She smirked at Wang Yuhan," not everyone has a plenty of time like you. Some are really busy." He scoffed back at her," Oh I see, it's not easy to be an actor either. There are a lot of things to deal with. Just like, trying to put on an innocent facade in public. I wonder how you do that."

Mi Chan didn't know why, she could feel a flinch inside of her. Was he mocking her? Trying to put on an innocent facade? She smiled coldly," You haven't changed at all." He nodded," So didn't you." Wang Zhao interrupted them with a single comment," Yuhan, You have to go and meet Ji Jin, Babe you too said you don't have plenty of time. So don't waste it."

Mrs Wang who was watching the whole scene and Mi Chan's behaviour today, sighed internally. She didn't know why there was something about the whole wedding thing worried her. She was not only concerned about her son but also Mi Chan. She shook her head and when she looked up her eyes met with Wang Yuhan whose eyes held a disappointing glint.

Looking back down, he stood up," I am done. I will go and see Ji Jin now. She might be waiting for me."

After some time, Mi Chan and Wang Zhao both decided to shop for a matching pair of rings. They decided to go to one of Li's store. As soon as Mi Chan stepped out of the car her eyes landed on the big board which had a picture of a strange man.

She stiffened all of a sudden. She was standing there with a blank expression until Wang Zhao called her name," are you okay?" She nodded," the man seems familiar." Words escaped her lips as Wang Zhao looked at the picture of the man and frowned. Li Zinhuo? Why was he familiar to Mi Chan?

She walked inside totally ignoring the fact that, as time passed by, her behaviour was getting weirder without her knowing. Wang Zhao didn't miss her blank look, she was staring at Li Zinhuo's picture as if she would cry any moment.

He followed her inside and found her already checking the pretty jewellery with a sly smile of satisfaction on her face. She looked back at him," how are they all so beautiful?" She continued eyeing the beautiful designs. The store was filled with those. She spotted a design which was placed in the centre of the store. She walked closer to it.

Her face stilled, baby pink diamonds embedded in a platinum base. It was so sleek and fine. Just then did she notice the company logo. A light stroke of 'L' followed by an italic 'I'. Under it was another word 'Zinhuo' written so very lightly and was rather surprising. She smiled lightly, the logo reminded her of the favourite piece of earring she had lost in the morning. It belonged to the same brand.

Wang Zhao was also mesmerized by the beautiful design. He looked up at her," this one?" She shook her head," it's beautiful but let's get a matching one. This seems Ato be a limited edition." He scoffed," Name it, and I will get you whatever you want. You don't have to worry about the budget."

She looked up," I know, I am not worried about your money. I just want a matching pair." He smiled," wait here for me. I will be back." Mi Chan started eyeing the designs again but this time her face was filled with weird emotions. She had a slight frown. Everything reminded her of someone. Was it just a coincidence?

She shook the thoughts away and asked one employee to show her some of the best matching pairs. She was busy in choosing one when she felt a familiar scent fill her nostrils. She looked back and she saw a man dressed in a suit. His lips pressed in a thin line. His cold eyes staring at her, giving her chills. But he made her heart beat faster.

She gulped lightly and her eyes traveled to Wang Zhao standing beside the man. She blinked, what was going on? Why were they together? The man placed two boxes in front of her," here is a gift from my side. Future Sister-in-law."

Wang Zhao was grinning as he wrapped an arm around Li Zinhuo," here is the one best friend you are always asking about. He doesn't like interacting with others." Wang Zhao looked at Li Zinhuo who twitched his lips," You seem surprised, Mi Chan?" She blinked and composed herself. Best friends?

She nodded her head," I see. Nice meeting you Mr Li Zinhuo." He nodded and extended his hand for her. She smiled and held it lightly shaking it. Her heart skipped a beat. The feeling of his hand touching hers was oddly familiar. She retreated her hand and looked down at the boxes.

Wang Zhao commented cheekily," open it." He walked by her side and she hesitantly opened it. It revealed a matching pair of rings. The same she had wanted. One had a plain men's design and the other had a more feminine one. She looked up and a smile made it's way on her lips," I love it. These designs are just so beautiful."

Wang Zhao proudly looked at Li Zinhuo," it's a few from his personal collection. He is usually working in his studio for all these perfect self made designs." She was again surprised. Nodding her head she stroked the ring lightly," It is really beautiful."

Li Zinhuo smiled back," good to hear that you like it." His voice was rather calm and deep. She looked up and couldn't help but smile at both of them," thank you!" Wang Zhao kissed her head and she froze. Even though she was smiling her heart was uneasy. She didn't feel good about everything that was happening. Why wasn't she enjoying the sweet moments? Why couldn't she be happy for herself?

Li Zinhuo sighed," I should be leaving. I have other work to attend. And you, meet you later this evening." Wang Zhao nodded as they parted their ways. Mi Chan's eyes glazed over Li Zinhuo slightly before she looked back at Wang Zhao," I have seen him before, but I didn't know you two were this close."

He smiled lightly," he doesn't like the idea of making unnecessary relationships with anyone. He is a man of business. Poor girl, whoever will marry him." Mi Chan chuckled," Indeed." But her smile dropped as soon as she turned towards the manager," pack these two."
