Clovis saw the incoming beasts. He took a step back at the last moment, causing the beasts to collide with each other. After that, he stepped on the beast's back and jumped over as the Tier 2 megalania smacked the beasts with its tail.

Fortunately, Clovis was faster than him or the two beasts would end up crashing into him and ultimately pinning him to the wall.
