The next day.

Annie yawned as she opened her eyes and she rubbed them; she could tell that it was light outside from the sun's rays entering her tent through the little mesh holes in it.

Annie rubbed her eyes as she stood up and she got out of her tent as she saw everyone had already woken up.

"Good Morning Sleepyhead" said Maddie as she looked at Annie and she laughed as she was holding a bowl of water, while Matt was busy making a fire.

"Good Morning" said Annie as she yawned.

"Annie, you slept for so long, we thought you wouldn't wake up" said Ollie as he quickly rushed to Annie as if he had been waiting for her to wake up all morning, which he had, after all Maddie and Matt were mean to him and they refused to speak with him, and well Curtis was nowhere to be found.

"I did?" asked Annie as she was surprised, she wondered why she went out cold like that?

"Yes you did" said Ollie as he nodded his head.

"Then why didn't you guys wake me up then?" asked Annie.

"Well we didn't want to disturb you, we wanted to let you rest" said Maddie as she smiled.

"Where is Curtis?" asked Annie as she looked around.

"I have no idea, when I woke up, he was gone" said Ollie as Annie looked at him in confusion.

"Yes Annie, that is true, he was gone by the time I woke up" said Maddie as Annie turned to look at her, Curtis could not just have left them here just like that.

"He went out, when I woke up, I saw him, and he told me that he was going out, and that he would be back soon" said Matt as he finished making the fire and he stood up.

"He went out to where?" asked Annie in confusion.

"He didn't say, but he should be fine" said Matt as he knew with Curtis it was best not to ask any questions, because they would not be answered anyway.

"I see…" said Annie as she wondered just what Curtis was up to, he disappeared to who knew where yesterday as well, it was clear that there was something he was not telling her, telling them all.

"Yeah, but anyway, I am getting breakfast ready, and Matt has to graciously made us a fire" said Maddie as she smiled.

"Okay" said Annie as she smiled.

"Wait, did anyone remember their dreams from yesterday?" asked Annie as Maddie, Ollie and Mat all turned to look at her at the same time.

"Oddly enough no, I don't remember my dream" said Maddie as she replied.

"Same here" said Matt.

"I thought that It was only me" said Ollie.

"I also don't remember my dream" said Annie.

"Weird…" said Annie as she seemed to be thinking, she usually had dreams, and she always remembered them, but last night she could not remember at all, she was out cold, and she remembered nothing.

"What do you think Annie?" asked Maddie as she looked at Annie.

"I don't know, I am just thinking, Curtis should come back first and I will ask him" said Annie as she looked at Maddie.

"Well I don't think that will be any time soon, the guy has been gone for such a while now" said Ollie as he looked at Annie.

"Hmm" said Annie as she knew that Curtis would come back soon, he wouldn't leave them, no he would not.

"Anyway, so…" said Annie as she was cut off.

"My powers are gone" said Maddie as she cut Annie off, she knew that was what she wanted to ask.

"They are?" asked Annie in surprise, she was still surprised even though Curtis had told them that they would all loose their powers.

"Yep" replied Maddie rather calmly.

Annie turned to look at Matt, who was looking at her.

"Mine are gone too" said Matt as he could not feel his powers at all, even though he still had his strength and his hearing.

"So are mine" said Ollie as he replied and he looked at Annie.

"So… so.. how does it feel?" asked Annie as she was curious, did they feel as weak as she did once she lost her powers.

"I don't know… empty I guess, I woke up this morning and I tried to cast a simple floating spell, but nothing happened at all, I am sure that I looked crazy staring at that log" said Maddie as she laughed.

"It just feels weird for me… not being able to cast spells" said Matt.

"Like Maddie said, I feel empty, as if I'm lighter" said Ollie as he smiled, well it was fun while it lasted, he had never been powerless before, so he was curious to how he would be able to survive without them, this was exciting to him.

"You don't feel weak?" asked Annie.

"Not at all" said Ollie as he shook his head.

"Nope" said Maddie as she shook her head.

"No" said Matt.

"Okay" said Annie as she smiled, so she was different, well she did exchange her powers for Curtis to come back, so it was different from her powers being taken away by the mist.

"I'm going to make breakfast" said Maddie as she smiled and she walked over to Curtis's bag, she would have to do everything manually from now on, which was annoying, she hated to admit it, but having magic do almost everything for her had made her lazy.

"Let me help" said Annie as she smiled.

"No Annie, no need for that, just stay put and rest" said Maddie as she smiled and she winked at Maddie.

"Okay…" said Annie as she looked at Matt as Matt walked over to Maddie, which left her alone with Ollie who was looking like he was itching to talk.

"Maddie is right Annie, you just say put, here with me, I can keep you company" said Ollie as he smiled happily and Annie smiled sheepishly at him, he didn't even ask if she wanted him to, but either way, he was going to stay with her.

"So, how did you sleep?" asked Ollie as he smiled and he sat down beside Annie as she sat down on the log, she just wanted to talk to Curtis right now, but well he was nowhere to be found at all.

"Well good… too good" said Annie as she was suspicious, she was not such a deep sleeper like that, she usually woke up early, but not this time.

"What do you mean?" asked Ollie as he looked at her.

"I think that this place isn't normal" said Annie as looked at Ollie.

"Well isn't that the truth?" asked Ollie.

"That mist isn't ordinary, I mean we all go out cold, we can't remember our dreams, and you guys lost your powers, of course this place is weird, weirder than weird" said Annie as Ollie was listening to her.

"Well I mean, yes, this place is weird, Caligo, is weird, but we are here already" said Ollie as he smiled, he was in no rush to go anywhere, this was the first time he had not had any sort of comfort at all, in fact, last night was the first time he had slept in a tent, on the ground, in a sleeping bag, his back hurt, but it was something fun to experience.

"I guess you are right" said Annie as she sighed, they were here already.

"Anyway, my night was good, although I have a back ache, I have never slept on the ground before" said Ollie as he laughed and Annie laughed.

"Haven't you gone camping before?" asked Annie as she smiled.

"No, never, I have never gone camping before" said Ollie as he smiled.

"How come?" asked Annie.

"Well when you grow up as the heir of the Witch Realm, there are some things considered too low for you, even if they are just simple things" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Well that sucks" said Annie.

"I know, it sucks right, but what can you do but accept it?" asked Ollie as he smiled.

"Well at least now you have some experience" said Annie as she smiled.

"Yes, yes I do" said Ollie as he smiled.

"You seem like an expert" said Ollie as he smiled.

"Well me and my dad used to go camping a lot, back in Sunset Village" said Annie as she smiled.

"Sunset Village, that's not a town in the Witch Realm now is it?" asked Ollie as he knew every town in the Witch Realm, and he had not come across such a name.

"No, it's not, it's back on earth, or in another Realm, I don't know, aha yes, it's back in the Human Realm, my realm, where I grew up" said Annie as she smiled.

"You didn't grow up in the Witch Realm?" asked Ollie as he smiled.

"Nope, I didn't, in fact, I only came here when this whole Azazel thing started" said Annie as she laughed.

"I see" said Ollie as he smiled.
