"Don't you think that it was very thoughtful and nice for Aunt Stella to set up this Library just for us?" asked Maddie as she was touching books everywhere.

"Well you mean for you especially, since you are the queen of complaining of boredom" said Annie as she laughed.

"Hey!" said Maddie as she was offended.

"Maddie It's the truth you are a queen..." said Matt as he chipped in.

"Awww Thank you" said Maddie as she smiled

"...But mostly of boredom lately like Annie said" said Matt as he finished his sentence, and in turn he received a glare from Maddie.

"What did I do??" asked Matt as he chuckled.

"Oh you know what you did" said Maddie as she rolled her eyes

"Anyway it doesn't surprise me that you agree with Annie" said Maddie

"What's that supposed to mean" said Matt

"Oh you both know what's going on" said Maddie as she pursed her lips.

"I seriously do not know what you are referring to" said Matt

"Well then you don't need to know" said Maddie

"Which reminds me of when you were enchanted and we tried to snap you out if it, and Annie refused to hit you" said Maddie and Annie immediately knew what she was going to say next, so she began to cross her hands over to gesture Maddie to stop talking, she was not ready for embarrassment right now.

"What do you mean?? how come?" asked Matt as he did not see what Annie was doing as his back was turned behind her.

"Well she said that she couldn't bear to hurt you and..." said Maddie as she totally ignored all Annie's signals.

"Hahaha" said Maddie as she suddenly started laughing, she could not help herself, the way Annie was moving made her look like a monkey it was totally hilarious.

"What's so funny?" asked Matt as he turned around and Annie immediately stopped moving, and she shined an awkward smile as she balanced herself on a chair, as she almost fell flat to the ground.

"What is going on?" asked Matt as he eyes both Maddie and Annie with a questioning look in his eyes.

"Nothing Matt, Maddie was just joking around" said Annie as he answered quickly, before Maddie had a chance to say something that would make her want to hide out of embarrassment.

"For some reason, I don't believe either of you" said Matt

"Aww Matt, we were just joking around, there is really nothing" said Maddie as she finally stopped laughing and she wiped a tear off her eye that formed as she was laughing.

"Annie was dancing very funnily while we were talking, and hence why I was laughing like that" said Maddie as she ignored Annie's glare that read "You better not say anything"

"So you two were tricking me?" said Matt as he was still in doubt.

"Yes it was a trick" said Annie as she laughed and tried to cover up her tracks.

"I still don't believe you" said Matt

"Aww Matthew Sundew, you don't believe your two best friends in the whole world" said Maddie as she acted like she was hurt.

"Really nice Matthew, really nice" said Maddie as she started pretending like she was crying.

Matt looked at Annie, he was seriously confused on how the situation changed into this?? Annie gave him a "Don't look at me, I am just as confused as you are" kind of look.

"Maddie you know that I don't think that" said Matt.

"Haha Yayyyyyyy, I know, I was just messing with you" said Maddie as she stopped shedding tears in an instant.

Both Annie and Matt were shocked, the way Maddie changed her emotions so quickly was scary, they had no doubt that if she was still a villain pretending to be their friend, they would have fallen for her act very easily.

"Maddie have you ever considered being an actress??" asked Matt as he just had to know.

"No, never crossed my mind" replied Maddie non-chalantly

"Why not?" asked Annie

"No reason, I have just never seen myself as a diva actor" said Maddie

"OH but trust me you are" that was what Annie wanted to say, but she just kept it to herself.

"But you could totally be an actor" said Matt

"You really think so?" asked Maddie

"Of course" said Annie and Matt at the same time.

"Aww you guys are just saying that" said Maddie

"Anyway back to no more boredom" said Maddie

"Speaking of boredom, Matt do you know that Maddie's favourite boredom pastime is to trouble my sweet innocent Curtis, by making him play bored games with her" said Annie

"Wait really??" asked Matt as this was the first time that he had heard of this.

"Okay hold up, first of all, I do not force him into anything, he has the free choice to reject my offer or not, and so far he has always accepted my offer" said Maddie as she defended herself.

"This sounds interesting" said Matt as he was amused.

"Oh it is, the first time, they played snaked and ladders, and then I had to settle a little feud of who cheated, and in all honesty Curtis was being a sore loser" said Annie

"AHA!! I knew that you thought so too" said Maddie as if she had been waiting for this day to come.

"Okay, alright, gosh, but still you also should have been the mature one" said Annie

"This is funny, I cannot imagine poker-faced Curtis to act like a sore loser" said Matt

"Oh you haven't seen anything, just yesterday they were playing Chess together, and it genuinely seemed like they were battling with each other" said Annie

"From the way they squinted their eyes at each other, to the way that they looked like they wanted to kill each other, just over a simple, friendly game of Chess" said Annie

"And Curtis was being so cheeky" said Annie as she laughed.

"No way, wait, Maddie the next time you get Curtis to play a board game with you call me, because I need to see this with my own two eyes face to face" said Matt

"Well Matthew you are in luck hehe" said Maddie as she chuckled like someone who had an evil plan.

"What's with the chuckle??" asked Annie

"Oh nothing my little Annie" said Maddie

"Little Annie??" asked Matt as that was the first time he heard Maddie say that.

"Yes, it's my new nickname, for the littlest member of our friend group" said Maddie

"Umm okay??" said Matt

"She says that it's because I'm the youngest" said Annie as she face-palmed

"Yes yes, anyway that's besides the point" said Maddie

"The real point is that, very soon I will get Curtis to play Scrabble with me hehe" said Maddie

"Well sign me up, I have to watch your playing" said Matt

"Trust me it's worth it" said Annie as she laughed.

"Okay okay, but who doesn't love annoying Curtis?" asked Maddie as she laughed.

"Umm no, only you receive gratification from annoying Curtis" said Matt

"Hahahahha, I will just pretend like I did not hear you" said Maddie as she laughed.

"Whatever you say" said Matt as he laughed.

Later that day.

The Sun had set, the starts had started to shine, worshiping the crescent shaped moon in the sky, some retired to bed while some stayed up to take watch, but for one particular vampire there were diamonds in the sky.

It was Liam, he had a bright smile on his face as he walked through the camp's space, his beautiful cat eyes had finally accepted him after days of rejectment, and he was sure to give her a good time, after all as the saying goes the longer the wait, the better the pay.

It was not that he was not curious about Selene's sudden behavioral change to him, she could not go a second without cursing him, or calling him wretched or thinking of ways to kill him, believe me he knew, he could see all the emotions in her eyes.

In all honesty, he was truly suspicious of her sudden change, and her asking him to come to her tent was simply questionable, considering their relationship was not the closest, but who cared?? he was going to find out everything, and more tonight.

"Cat eyes, I'm here" said Liam as if he was singing, he looked like he was in a daze, with a stupid smile on his vampire face.

Then suddenly without warning Selene came out of her tent abruptly, she held him by his neck, and she aggressively shoved him into her tent while saying "Get in her vampire"

Liam was actually as stupid as everyone said, because if he wasn't he would not have walked straight into the lions den, he thought that he was playing with a kitten, but he was messing with a lion in disguise.
