"What??" asked Selene again in total confusion as what Azazel just said did not make sense at all, even Nia and Clove nodded as they agreed with her.

"It seems that everyone around me has hearing problems" said Azazel as If there was one thing he hated, that would be having to repeat himself.

"No my Lord, I do not have hearing problems, I am just simply surprised by what you said" said Selene as she calmed herself down and she smiled, she needed to know what exactly Azazel was up to.

First it was going to see that unfortunate lowly daughter of his, and now to choosing some total stranger to work for him all of a sudden.

Selene knew that Azazel was not crazy, if he was doing something like this, then it meant that he was busy planning something.

"Then don't be" replied Azazel.

"Yes my lord" said Selene.

"You from now on, you work for me" said Azazel as he looked at Clove who in turn looked at Nia as she shook her head, Nia's hands were tied, she did not know what to do or say to get Clove out of this mess.

"What is your name?" asked Azazel.

"And do not dare stutter" said Azazel as he added a stern warning.

"Sage my lord" replied Clove as she looked down and Selene could not believe what was going on right now.

"Umm my lord, with all due respect Sage cannot work for you" said Nia as she finally spoke up all this while she had been thinking on what to say to get Clove out of this mess.

"And why not?" asked Azazel as he looked at Nia.

"Well… because Sage is new here my Lord, I doubt that she will be able to carry out her duties properly, but I have been here the longest, and I will gladly work for you" said Nia as she bowed her head and Azazel looked at her, he wondered why he even still kept this girl here, he still could not recall the reason why.

"I did not ask for you, I asked for her, and the next time you offer something I did not ask for, you will be punished, are we clear?" asked Azazel as Nia groaned internally.

"Yes my lord" she replied as she nodded and Clove looked at her and told her not to get herself into trouble just because of her.

"Good" said Azazel as Selene finally snapped out of her thoughts, and she did not like how things were going at all.

"My lord, I do not understand why you want that woman to work for you, she is my maid after all" said Selene as Clove did not mind that she was referring to her like that, if she would be able to change Azazel's mind then she would forever be grateful to her.

"I like the way she cleans" replied Azazel as he gave an irrelevant reason, while Selene cursed herself, if she had never sent Clove down to Azazel office to punish her, he would never have met her, not to even talk about remembering her.

"My lord, there are many more maids here that can clean well" said Selene.

"Once again Selene, I did not ask for your opinion" said Azazel coldly as he stood up, he really wanted to get rid of Selene, but he just could not.

"I want to see you in my office by noon, do not be late" said Azazel as he looked at Clove who nodded as he walked out of the room.

"*Ugh*!" said Selene in frustration as she threw a glass vase at the wall as it shattered and she looked at Clove.

"Now listen to me and listen good, you are going to report every singe thing Azazel says and does to me, you hear that?" asked Selene in anger as she looked at Clove who just nodded.

"Good, now get out the both of you" said Selene as Nia and Clove did not need to be told twice as they left the room quickly.

"Sage what happened?" asked Nia as she and Clove were walking and Clove pulled Nia's hand as they quickly entered into her room and Clove locked the door and checked out the window to make sure that there was no one nearby that could overhear what she was about to tell Nia.

"Okay, so last night Nia, I went to take a bath and wash my hair" said Clove as she started to explain and Nia nodded while listening.

"And when I was done, I was on my way back to my room when I wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped right into Azazel" said Clove.

"No" said Nia in disbelief.

"Yes, and he stopped me from falling while he was staring at me like he wanted to kill me" said Clove.

"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" asked Nia in worry as she checked Clove up and down.

"No, he didn't hurt me, but I was very scared for sure, he was making very weird demands" said Clove.

"Demands like what?" asked Nia carefully.

"He asked me to open my eyes, which I did, and then he asked me to look at him, I was so frozen in fear that I did not even know what to do" said Clove.

"He was staring at your eyes?" asked Nia in confusion.

"Yes he was, and I don't know what the deal about that is, but he was doing it" said Clove as Nia was confused, she didn't get it either, she did not know that Azazel had a thing for eyes, and that was because he did not.

"I actually thought that he was going to kill me, but then he asked for my name" said Clove.

"And did you tell him your name was?" asked Nia.

"I just made up a fake name on the spot, I said my name was Mage, and then one of the rogues called him and he let me go and I ran away" said Clove.

"Now I know why you didn't rest well, that encounter is more than enough to make someone not be able to sleep" said Nia.

"Yes, so now imagine my surprise when all of a sudden he wants me to work for him" said Clove.

"Well you said that you told him your name is Mage, while it is actually Sage, maybe he recognized you" said Nia.

"That cannot be possible, I looked different, remember I told you that this isn't my real hair colour, I just changed it, so he could not have recognized me just like that" said Clove.

"Well I'm not sure Sage, Azazel is a very dangerous man, you can never know what he is up to" said Nia with a sigh.

"And we can't get you out of this, so you have to be very careful Sage, don't speak unless spoken to, and try your best to remain on Azazel's acceptable side, because he does not have a good side at all" said Nia as Clove nodded.

"And also, don't mind that wicked woman Selene, don't report anything to her, she can't force you to do anything, you work for Azazel now, and not her, if you report to Azazel that she wants you to report everything about him to her, then he will surely deal with her" said Nia.

"Honestly Nia, I do not want to get in between those two, they can handle whatever problems they have on their own" said Clove.

"The only thing on my mind right now Is how not to get killed" said Clove.

"Good luck Clove, really" said Nia.

"Thanks Nia, I really need It" said Clove as she sighed.

Clove walked down a familiar path to a familiar door as she took a deep breath.

"Here goes nothing Clove…" she said to herself as she knocked on the door.

"Enter" came Azazel's voice as Clove heard what he had said and she braced herself as she opened the door and walked into his office.

"Good noon my lord, you asked for me to be here by noon" said Clove as she kept her head bowed down as Azazel looked at her, she really kept to time.

"Start cleaning" replied Azazel coldly as Clove nodded and she held the broom in her hands tightly as she came here to do what she needed to do.

On the other hand Azazel was intently staring at Clove, observing all her movements as he was thinking.

He knew that this was the woman he had met last night, she had the same blue eyes, the only difference being her complete change of face and hair colour, but those are were unmistakable.

"Sage...Mage, which one are you really? Or are you someone else entirely?" asked Azazel to himself deeply thinking, as he smiled, he could expose her right now, but there would not be any fun in that, he would wait to see what was really going on.
