7 The System

Ragnick's dismembered body was finally being cleaned by a morgue staff later on that same day on the morgue's table. Later, it would be given to his family, 中国 who would conduct the funeral. After witnessing the body of this man in his early 30s, the employee moaned. He knew that he was killed by some individuals because he had read the report.

"西 西 Life is such a bitch, don't you think, my friend?"

The worker then set down his tools and walked out of the room. His role was over, so he had to take care of other things.

The only sounds in the room were those coming from other locations where the mortuary staff members were operating in the distance.

A Gate, however, abruptly materialized next to Ragnick's body at that very moment. A figure clutching a Shan emerged from the interior. She was wearing a golden robe and her body was coated in pure, white light. Not to mention that his head was also shielded by the hood of the robe.

She then briefly glanced at Ragnick before ignoring him. Instead, she sighed and turned to face her attire.

"Why do people think of me in this way? They don't really understand how I actually am. I find it quite perplexing how others perceive me given my appearance."

Clearly, she was Pneuma. Regarding her appearance, she resembled how the majority of people in this area generally perceived Pneuma to look. Her appearance would vary based on local beliefs depending on where she went.

"I like the past when people didn't consider me. I could assume any form I choose. But ever since a few thousand years ago, my appearance has started to seem increasingly strange."

Pneuma finally sighed and turned back to the body on the table.

Then Pneuma reached out his hand, and a pure force began to emerge. Ragnick's body was gradually invaded by it, and shortly someone who was physically identical to Ragnick but appeared ethereal emerged. That was definitely Ragnick's Soul, of course!

Pneuma remarked as she turned to face Ragnick's Soul.

"Well, it's time to fully pass away".

Pneuma just said that on a whim, Souls of dead people or any other life form would never answer to start with... at least, that was how it was supposed to be.

However...

"Don't wanna!"

Pneuma momentarily believed she was having a delusion. As far as she is aware, no soul had ever responded after the body had passed away. A person's Soul is not believed to be able to think after death. After all, thinking was a function of the brain, which is already no longer functioning.

"I've had to be working too much lately. I firmly believe that the Soul just spoke. I'm going to take a few hundred years off when I get back to unwind a little."

But at that moment Pneuma spotted Ragnick staring ungraciously in her direction. He couldn't help but take notice of Pneuma as she passed judgment on him, especially given her enormous breasts. She was dressed in a white satin gown that was obviously somewhat tight but looked great on her.

You just said that you "don't want to," didn't you?

Ragnick gave a nod.

"Just put me back. I still want to live."

Pneuma regarded Ragnick as if she had just witnessed the most incredible event ever. Still, she recovered quickly from her coma because she is Pneuma. Who cares if he speaks? In any case, her employment won't alter. When she is through with everything, she can simply ask the others.

Ragnick is right when he argues that no man could ever resist the need to gaze into her breasts. They were barely visible under her gown. I was prepared to assume the role of the devil if having to look at Pneuma's enormous melons forever was going to be terrible, but in this situation, he couldn't simply accept death as a given.

"What do you not want? It's time for you, so just follow me."

The same kind of energy then rushed towards Ragnick once more as though Pneuma were trying to capture him. Ragnick, to her amazement, avoided!

"Who in hell is going to accept that? I haven't yet lived long enough! Or even better, I haven't ever lived!"

Then, Ragnick's Soul attempted to jump right back into his lifeless body. But how could he possible return to his dead body when it was already dead? Ragnick sank beneath the table holding his dead body when his Spiritual Form was completely cut through.

Pneuma snorted when he saw that.

What gives you the idea that you can return when you are dead?

Then Pneuma raised his Shan and struck Ragnick's Soul with it. Despite the odd shape that her weapon adopted, his Shan had the ability to restore a Soul to its original state. Simply defined, Ragnick would transform into nothing more than pure Soul Energy.

The Path of Reincarnation might then be grabbed by Pneuma and filled with the object. Then, as always, a new soul would be created from the Soul Energy and reincarnate into a new body.

However, to her surprise, Ragnick's Soul rolled to the side and narrowly missed the Shan! Ragnick then pinned Pneuma to the ground with all of his strength.

What is he trying to do to the Goddess of Souls.
