" Alright start extracting their blood essence, do it quickly. I want everything to be done in ten minutes ".. Nexus said and with a wave of his hand, large wooden barrels about fifty of them appeared on the open space.

" Yes Your Majesty" The Black Armored Guards answered in unison as everyone started to get busy. They started dealing with the corpses of the Black Spirit Wolves, Lexx and Tyler dealt with the corpse of the Wolf king.

The blood essence of demonic beasts is very valuable, it contains huge amount of spirit energy that can be used in various ways such as tempering the body, Alchemists can also use blood essence to refine pills and many more.

In just a few minutes all the blood essence of the wolf pack have been extracted, since the Black Armored Guards were previously rogue Cultivators and they have been constantly deals with demonic beasts,so they are very familiar with the extraction of blood essence.

Apart from extracting the blood essence they also dealt with the corpese, like the meat, the meat of demonic beasts also contain Spirit Energy which is a great tonic for Cultivation and the skin and hide are also valuable parts of demonic beasts.

In just the specified time all the fifty barrels where one-third filled with blood essence. As for the blood essence of the wolf king,it has a separate barrels as it's blood essence is more potent than the other wolves.

" Ok let's get out here before other demonic beasts started showing up " Nexus ordered and with another wave of his hand he stored all the barrels containing the blood essence.

All the Black Armored Guards nodded and with incredible speed, Nexus and his men dashed out of the valley which was now filled pools of blood and gore, broken limps, organs and brain matter filled the valley.

Although Nexus wasn't afraid of attracting other demonic beasts but he just didn't have the time to wait and hunt demonic beasts at the same place and most demonic that could be attracted due to the commotion would only be 1 Star demonic beasts.

The next day, inside the outer area of the Emerald Mountain Range, a group of more than fifty people wearing armor with blood splattered all over their armors were facing a group of demonic beasts of all sorts of species; they were huge snakes as thick as buckets, a multi-colored tiger about four feet tall, a blazing lion, and many more. 

Since yesterday, they have been hunting all sorts of demonic beasts in the outer area of the Emerald Mountain Range. Almost all the demonic beasts they encountered were 1 star demonic beasts; they only managed to kill three 2 star demonic beasts.

Apart from resting for about half an hour to recover their spirit energy, almost all their time was spent on slaughtering demonic beasts. Even Nexus took part in the slaughter; even though 1 star demonic beasts didn't pose much threat to him, but he wanted everything to be done as soon as possible since time wasn't on his side during these current situations.

The reason why they are being surrounded by a large group of demonic beasts is that, Nexus felt that looking for demonic beasts one by one and killing them was too slow. They made a plan to purposely lure some demonic beasts into this area and kill them together, which saves time and is also very efficient. 

Despite being surrounded by numerous demonic beasts, Nexus and the Black Armored Guards remained composed. Over a hundred demonic beasts were closing in on them.

Among the group of powerful demonic beasts, the most formidable is the Blazing Flame Lion, a 3-star demonic beasts known for its immense strength and fiery presence. Twice the size of the Black Spirit Wolf King they previously killed, this lion is adorned with red flames that engulf its entire body, exuding a sense of power and dominance.

Following closely behind is the Tri-Colored Tiger, a 2-star beast with a striking multi-colored coat that hints at its agility and cunning nature. Lastly, we have the Shadow Panther, a sleek and elegant 2-star demonic beasts known for its stealth and grace.

"I'll handle these demonic beasts; you all focus on the rest," Nexus declared confidently, locking eyes with the three most powerful creatures in the group: the Blazing Flame Lion, the Tri-Colored Tiger, and the Shadow Panther.

Without uttering another word, Nexus slowly unsheathed the long blade strapped to his back and vanished from his original position, leaving behind only flickering, faint flames. This technique is the SunMoon Steps. When he reappeared, he was standing beside the Shadow Panther.

Nexus chose to target the Shadow Panther first due to its special abilities, which include immense speed and the ability to conceal itself within shadows. While the Shadow Panther's speed may not match Nexus's own, its ability to hide in the shadows poses a significant challenge.

With one swift motion of the blade, the Shadow Panther was unable to react before being cleaved in half at the waist. With a swift flicker, Nexus vanished from sight, only to reappear moments later. In a mesmerizing display, the head of the tri-colored tiger split from its body.

The swift sequence of events unfolded within mere seconds, from the defeat of the Shadow Panther to the demise of the Tri-Colored Tiger. In the blink of an eye, the Blazing Flame Lion found itself staring in disbelief at the lifeless forms of its fallen adversaries. Confusion and bewilderment clouded its gaze as it struggled to comprehend how two demonic beasts, albeit slightly weaker than itself, had met their end so swiftly.

The Blazing Flame Lion is a 3-Star Demonic Beast, equivalent to a Body Integration Realm Cultivator. Its intelligence surpasses that of other demonic beasts, allowing it to react quickly and vigilantly observe Nexus a few meters away.

Nexus, in turn, with a sly smirk on his face meets the lion's gaze. This is their first encounter with a first 3-Star Demonic Beast they have encountered since yesterday, and Nexus senses that the Blazing Flame Lion is quite stronge, although he was stronger than it.

Nexus couldn't tear his eyes away from the Lion, practically drooling at the thought of how delicious its meat must be. He also imagined that its essence must be rich in Spirit Energy.

As Nexus stared at the Lion with an expression of pure hunger, the beast roared in anger. Its eyes turned a fiery red, and intense heat radiated from its body as five fireballs the size of basketballs formed around it. It was clear that the Blazing Flame Lion was not to be underestimated.

With a mighty roar, the fireballs shot towards Nexus, leaving fiery trails in their wake. Instead of dodging, Nexus faced the attack head-on. He sliced one fireball in half with his blade and deftly dodged another, causing it to explode upon hitting the ground.

With a swift movement, he split two more fireballs with his blade and skillfully avoided the remaining two, which also exploded on impact, creating a scorched pit emitting white smoke. Nexus was a force to be reckoned with in the heat of battle.

Witnessing Nexus effortlessly deal with the attack, the Blazing Flame Lion was momentarily taken aback before roaring in anger once more. Another wave of fireballs condensed and floated around it, this time there were about ten to fifteen fireballs, all of which were aimed towards Nexus.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Bang! Boom!

Explosions continued to reverberate around the surroundings as Nexus dodged and used his blade to block and slice some of the fireballs apart. Huge scorched craters formed in the surrounding terrain, creating a devastating scene.

Some of the fireballs were able to eliminate nearby demonic beasts, causing the surrounding area to be engulfed in flames and scorched black for a moment.

Nexus glanced around with a hint of surprise in his eyes, impressed by the immense power displayed by the Blazing Flame Lion.

With the long blade held firmly in his left hand, Nexus clenched his right fist and grinned confidently at the Blazing Flame Lion. He then transformed into a streak of red light, hurtling towards his the Blazing Flame Lion.

Roarrrrrrrr

The Blazing Flame Lion, sensing imminent danger, let out a deafening roar and conjured a wall of flames in a desperate attempt to shield itself.

As Nexus charged towards the lion, his eyes sparkled with determination. With a swift motion, he raised his left hand and effortlessly tore through the fiery barrier, closing in on the retreating beast.

In a swift and calculated move, Nexus's fist connected with the Blazing Flame Lion's head, delivering a powerful blow.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK

The resounding crack of bones echoed through the air as the Blazing Flame Lion was forcefully propelled backwards, like a cannonball in flight.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BANG!

The sheer force of its movement caused trees to splinter and uproot in its wake. After being hurled back several meters, the Blazing Flame Lion collided with a massive ancient tree before coming to a halt.

The massive creature's head was bleeding profusely as it lay on the ground, twitching slightly. It's blood emitted a sizzling sound as it landed on the ground, creating small holes of scorched earth due to its blood also containing immense heat.

Nexus materialized in front of the Blazing Flame Lion and swiftly drove his blade into its heart, bringing an end to its life. The powerful blow from Nexus had already inflicted serious injuries on the beast, leaving it on death's doorstep.

Nexus shook his head and let out a sigh of disappointment. Despite the Blazing Flame Lion being a formidable 3 Star Demonic Beast, equivalent to a human at the Body Integration Realm, Nexus considered it weak in comparison to himself.

Even though they were at the same stage, Nexus saw the Blazing Flame Lion as inferior.

Nexus turned his gaze towards the ongoing battle in the distance. The Black Armored Guards had nearly eradicated all of the demonic beasts, leaving only a small number remaining.

After five minutes, the last of the demonic beasts were slaughtered, though some of the guards sustained minor injuries in the process.

The surrounding area was now littered with the massive corpses of various demonic beasts, their blood creating a small pool that continued to flow.

"Alright, those who are injured, find a spot to rest up. The rest of you, start working," ordered Nexus.

"Understood, Your Majesty," responded the Black Armored Guards as they quickly began handling the demonic beast corpses.

Nexus then turned around and gazed at the massive body of the Blazing Flame Lion, a hint of excitement shining in his eyes.

With a swift strike of his long blade, Nexus cracked open the skull of the Blazing Flame Lion. He reached inside and retrieved a glowing fiery crystal the size of a fist.

The fiery red crystal in Nexus's hand is the demonic core of the Blazing Flame Lion. Nexus can feel the intense heat emanating from the core. In order for a 2-star demonic beast to advance to a 3-star demonic beast, it must condense a demonic core.

This process makes the beast eligible to advance to the 3-star stage. As a result, only 3-star demonic beasts and above can possess demonic cores.

Demonic cores are versatile resources that can be utilized in a variety of ways.

Alchemists can use demonic cores to refine pills, while weapon refiners can also use them to forge powerful weapons. In short, the demonic core of a demonic beast holds significant value and can be applied across various fields.

Nexus held the demonic core in his hand, a smirk playing on his lips and a glint in his eyes.

With a simple wave of his hand, he effortlessly stored the body of the Blazing Flame Lion. Within half an hour, all the corpses of the demonic beasts had been properly disposed of.

As Nexus gazed at the Black Armored Guards standing before him, their armor drenched in blood, he grinned wickedly. "Alright, men, let us continue the hunt," he declared, his tone filled with anticipation.
