Felix could not believe what just happened. Had he really been set up by a little girl like Mary?

How could Mercy believe her sister over him? Could she not see through her sister's lies? But how could she with the evidence before her eyes. But that was what love was all about. If she really loved him, she would have had a little faith in him. She would have given him benefit of doubt. She didn't even give him the chance to defend himself.

Could this be the end of their relationship? Would she really forgive this? This wrong he had supposedly done her? How was he ever going to prove his innocent to her? How was he going to get Mary to confess to this frame up?

But he just had to do it. He had invested too much emotionally, in this relationship and he was not going to allow any body, least of all, an earth worm like Mary to take his love away from him
