Chapter 27

“This…this is definitely a…a date I’ll never…never forget for the…for the rest of my life.”

Keenan seemed even angrier for the next few seconds, but Pablo waggled his eyebrows at the other man. Keenan’s irritation faded away in an instant. Soon, they were both guffawing like a couple of mad hyenas while sitting on the filthy kitchen floor.

“I hate you.”

Pablo slung one arm over Keenan’s bare shoulders and tugged his best friend closer toward him. Keenan resisted at first, but he eventually gave up. Pablo winked at Keenan and buried his face against his date’s sweaty chest.

“I’m sorry.”

“I still hate you.”

Pablo glanced up and smiled at Keenan. “I’m sorry. Forgive me. Please? With a cherry on top. Or should that be with a raspberry on top?”

Keenan shoved Pablo away from him and pouted a little. “You’re an ass.”

Pablo snickered as he slowly sat up. Then he got onto his knees so he could hug Keenan from the side.

“Come on, man. You have to admit it was funny.”
