He didn’t get to meet Vincent during lunch hour, but he was all right with it. He understood Vincent had responsibilities and things to do at the office. He didn’t expect for his boyfriend to stop by every day. Besides, the two of them had another date later that evening. Hence, he decided to leave the bakery to the manager on shift, along with his other employees, by the time six o’clock rolled around and head home for the day. He was astounded when he noticed Vincent getting out of his car right as he was reaching his apartment building. He made his way toward his boyfriend in a hurry, pressing Vincent against the car and kissing him with every ounce of yearning and desperation within him. He couldn’t stop smiling when they broke apart.
“Hey.”
Vincent chuckled. “Hey, stud.”
“Stud?”
Vincent nodded, still grinning widely. “Oh, yeah. You definitely are.”
“I like the sound of that. This is a wonderful surprise. I thought you wouldn’t get here until half past six at the earliest.”
