Jacob and Shane close encounter (6)

Jacob held his chest with one of his hands and steadied himself up, not once leaving his eyes away from the girl who was advancing towards him.

She sped fast to his side and dashed on him and made a human barrier protecting him from her guard. She pressed, "I order you, Don't you attempt to touch him."

The bodyguard looked back at Shane, Shane stood there with a face filled with skepticism, he signaled his bodyguard to step aside and bring Anna back.

Anna studied Jacob and wiped the blood in the corner of his mouth and helped him stand upright. Jacob smiled vibrantly as if he received several punches of gift, "Girl! you do care about me, Don't you?"

"Crap! you are joking even at this point. If I was not here, you will be in a stretcher."

Jacob smiled even more as if he heard a huge joke, 'If you were not here, I would have done my work out today. It is been a long time I had a fair fight.'

"Yeah! You are right. Thank you, darling." Jacob winked at her.

"Hey! What did you call me? You know you deserve all the beating landed on you." Anna criticized Jacob with a worried face.

"What?! You also wanted to hit me. Then go ahead! no one is stopping you." he grimaced.

"Annoying piece of crap, get out of here!" She pushed him inside his car and warned him again to drive off.

Even though her words were dense, her concern towards him stayed still in her eyes, "Can you drive? Are you were waiting for someone here? Is that person can help you?"

"Don't you worry? I am strong enough to take care of me. But you do better look after yourself." Jacob looked deep into her eyes trying to convey his feeling for her through his deep blue eyes.

Anna was muddleheaded by his sudden display of passions, 'What is he doing? what is happening to me, why am I listening to this annoying man?'

"Madam! Mr.Shane request you to head back." The guard interrupted their small talk and signaled Anna to walk to the car. Jacob felt more like to kill him for interrupting their moment.

Anna took the chance to break free of the uncomfortable eye contact and she hurried back to Shane. She noticed that Shane was not pleased with what she just did.

'Why did I overreact? No, it is nothing, There is nothing between us... I am trying to help him out of humanity, nothing more!' Anna tried to persuade herself of her actions.

Once she reached the car, she glanced again at the direction of Jacob one more time. Jacob who was waiting in the car hoped all along that she would give him a last glance and she did. 'Yey! She looked at me again. I am one step closer now. Loser! wait for me to give you a slap on your face.'

They both left the spot in their car, Shane didn't utter a word but kept reminding himself, 'It is none of my business whom she talks to. It is none of my business...'

Aaliyah and the rest watched the full episode from far away, Naia sounded surprised, "Wow! who was that man? He caught me off-guard. Did you all see how Anna reacted?"

Even though George felt a little envy towards the man, he replied hiding his excitement, "Yeah! At last Shane got a perfect opponent. That girl never opens her eyes for others other than that 'Trash can."

Naia glared at him and whispered with a gritted teeth, "She is a married woman, George! We need to talk about it to Anna first and you watch your big mouth, I can't guarantee you'll survive Anna's wrath next time if you keep on spouting nonsense."

Aaliyah felt a chill run through her spine, "She got married" 'I have to report this immediately to Godmother.'

Naia nodded to Aaliyah and asked her to keep it as a secret.

Aaliyah was well aware of everyone in Anna's life. She was just wondering a little earlier about Jacob, 'who is this new character, his existence was not at all recorded in the report.'

Shock after shock, she also comes to know that Anna got married. 'This news might affect their Godmother's initial plan, Today's progress must be reported to godmother without delay.'

Aaliyah bid them farewell and walked swiftly to her car to drive away.
