Old Master Lu arrived just in time to overhear Lu Ming's words.
Old Master Lu: "..."
He raised his hand and knocked on Lu Ming's head.
"Who was that?"
Lu Ming turned around, ready to lash out, but his gaze met Old Master Lu's eyes, filled with fury.
He immediately shrank back, raising his hands in surrender.
"Grandfather, I didn't say anything, nothing at all."
"Good, at least you know your place."
Old Master Lu snorted coldly before leading Qin Sheng into the hotel.
They made their way to the private room they had reserved earlier.
The other family had not yet arrived.
They sat down at their seats, with Fu Hanchuan and Old Master Lu sitting near Qin Sheng, while Lu Ming sat alone, a lonely figure at a distance.
This was no accident; Lu Ming had deliberately chosen the farthest seat.
Sitting alone, it was rather pleasant.
At least he wouldn't have to face Old Master Lu's reprimands.
