Let's Fight

Ryder and Weiss exit the elevator of the Cross Continental Transmit tower when Weiss's Scroll lights up. She pulls out her scroll and sees that it's a audio message from Blake. Weiss and Ryder share a gaze before she answers. 

"Everyone! If you can hear me, we need back-" Blake is cut off. 

"HEEELLLLP!" Sun shouts. 

Weiss rolls her eyes, and a little smile comes onto her face. 

"I'll go get Kairos. A little extra back up can't hurt." Ryder said. 

"Just don't let us do all the work." Weiss said. 

"No promises." Ryder said while shrugging his shoulders. 

Ryder and Weiss leave the CCT Tower and go their separate ways. Ryder tries to locate Kairos who is most likely training with Glynda right now. So, he heads to the Auditorium. When he arrives, he opens the doors and walks into the arena space where he can see Glynda and Kairos. The two halt their training as they hear Ryder run into the room. 

"Mr. Falcone. What is so urgent that you had to interrupt this training session?" Glynda asks. 

"Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong are under attack in Vale. I came to grab Kairos to go give them some assistance." Ryder explains. 

Glynda almost seemed caught off guard but remained professional. 

"Very well." Glynda said before turning to Kairos. "I advise caution when confronting a threat within the city." 

Kairos merely nods before walking towards Ryder. 

"Do you know where they are?" Kairos asks. 

"I'd imagine it won't be hard to find them." Ryder said. 

"How so?" Kairos asks. 

"Follow the chaos and we'll find them." Ryder said. 

"Not a sound plan but I'll humor you." Kairos said. 

Ryder and Kairos then make haste and leave the Auditorium. The duo finds an airship that was leaving for Vale and get onboard. It wasn't a terribly long flight back to Vale but once they arrived, the two got to work on locating Blake and Sun. It wasn't that difficult as they would follow the chaos. Thankfully it wasn't too hard. The duo followed a trail of destruction left behind by something big. Ryder was worried. He knows for a fact that Ruby and Yang would've heard the message and are most likely engaging whatever Blake and Sun were dealing with. It worries him. He's worried for their safety. He knows they can hold their own but he always worries about his friends. Him and Kairos reach the highway where they spot Team RWBY battling a large mech suit. 

At the battle, Team RWBY backs up and regroups. Inside the mech was Roman Torchwick and he was having the time of his life. He loved the new toy he is currently playing with. Before Team RWBY can advance, violet colored energy surrounds the mech before the mech is lifted into the air and flung back. The mech lands back on its legs and everyone turns to the attacker. Ryder and Kairos have arrived. Team RWBY turned around and saw the two. 

"Ryder! Kairos!" Ruby said, happy to see them. 

"Seems you guys got one hell of an opponent." Ryder comments. 

"It's Roman Torchwick. He's inside that Paladin mech." Blake said. 

"That guy Ruby fought? That Torchwick?" Ryder asks. 

"Yep, the very same." Ruby said. 

"Gotcha." Ryder said. 

"So, more people decided to join in on the party. Well get ready newcomers cause there's plenty of fun to go around!" Roman said from within the mech. 

"He sure loves to talk." Kairos comments. 

Ryder takes a look at the mech and gets an idea. A figurative light bulb lights up above his head. He looks at Kairos. 

"I have a plan." Ryder said. 

"That being?" Kairos asks. 

"Sun Battery." Ryder said. 

Kairos just nods. Team RWBY on the other hand is confused. 

"What's Sun Battery?" Yang asks. 

Ryder smiles slightly before he turns to Team RWBY. Kairos kept his gaze locked onto Roman Torchwick. Ryder devised this plan a while ago, but it wasn't just a plan for him and Kairos. It involves Team RWBY. 

"it's a strategy I devised a bit ago, and Yang, it involves you." Ryder said. 

"What do you need me for?" Yang asks in a confused fashion. 

"I need to punch you. Like Really hard." Ryder said. 

Yang was confused before it dawned on her. 

"Ooooh. I see." Yang said, realizing what the plan was. 

Yang then gets into position. 

"Hit me." Yang said. 

"Weiss, hold her in place." Ryder asks. 

Weiss uses her Glyphs and freezes Yang's feet to the floor. Ryder cracks his neck and activates his Semblance going straight to 4x. He then cocks a fist back before punching Yang in the face with all his might. Well not really, he doesn't want to hurt her, so he held back a little. The ground cracks from the shockwave that erupts from the impact. The ground beneath Yang breaks and she goes tumbling backwards. Weiss's Glyph's still sticking her to the ground but the ground beneath the glyphs turned into chunks of stone. Weiss turns her Semblance off, and the glyphs vanish. Yang gets back up before her hair bursts into flames. Intense flames. Ryder smiles. He then turns to Kairos. 

"Kairos now!" Ryder shouts. 

Kairos uses his Umbrakinesis to control his violet energy. He wraps the energy around the mech and lifts it off the ground. 

"What the!?" Roman cried out. 

Yang smirks before he charged the mech. Weiss placed glyphs on the ground that sped Yang up. Yang the lunged at the mech and punched it with all her might and caused it to rupture into a dozen pieces. Kairos stopped using his semblance as Yang hit the mech causing Roman to go flying out of the mech. Roman rolls across the ground before getting up onto his feet. He inspects the damage he may have sustained while brushing off any dust. 

"Just got this thing cleaned." Roman complained. 

He looks up just as Yang fired a single shot from her gauntlets. She still held the absorbed power from Ryder's punch which was bigger than anything she's ever absorbed before. As the shot raced towards Roman, a girl drops down and opens up an umbrella which blocks the attack entirely. The new arrival was a girl with an interesting hair color. One side was pink, and the other was brown, same with her eyes. She hangs her weapon over her shoulder as Roman decides to address his opponents. 

"Ladies, Gentlemen, Ice queen..." Roman said. 

"Hey!" Weiss shouts. 

"Always a pleasure! Neo, if you would." Roman said. 

The girl, now named Neo, curtsies her enemies with a bow, but Yang wasn't having any of that. Yang charged the two with a fist raised to strike them but as she hits them, they shatter like glass. Ryder was surprised by this as was Kairos. They all turn just in time to see Roman and Neo escaping in a Bullhead. The rest of the group rushes to Yang's side as the absorbed power fizzles out and her hair returns to normal. 

"So i guess he got a new henchman." Yang said. 

"Yeah, I guess she really made our plans... fall apart!" Weiss said, attempting to make a pun. 

"Weiss. Don't ever make puns. That's a Me and Yang thing, don't steal our thunder." Ryder said. 

"What-but you two do it all the time!" Weiss retorts. 

"Exactly. It's a me and Yang thing. It's our style. Not yours." Ryder said, jokingly. 

"Well at least I'm trying!" Weiss argues. 

"Wait... where are Sun and Neptune?" Ruby asks.
