Chapter 1:9

It was a cold and quiet tuesday, the worse tuesday for all of us. our home was drop pin silent ..we were all to pained to cry.

it was the first time l saw Lisa's father at our home, he was dressed in a casual outfit and sunglasses and had a single black rose in his hand

mom looked drained as her veins shone bright red matching her eyes. she had been through so much in this last few days and when was clearly exhausted. l had fully taken up the mother figure to my siblings.

we had so many guests and so little refreshments. Maine, Mika and lobby were upstairs in their rooms while l attended to the guest. l didn't even know mom knew so many people. some from work , some neighbours we never spoke to etc,

Hermes and Simon were there too

I wanted to show Simon the picture but it wasn't the right time.

Lisa's corpse was taken out late at night after the guest had gone and was buried the next day .

There was a little reception held in a fancy garden not so far from the cemetery and it was the most heartbreaking thing.

Mom, her dad and her paternal grandparents all had a turn to speak .

She apparently died from a genetic disorder which wasn't noticed on time. according to her father she was close to the grave when the symptoms started

I overheard a little conversation between mom and him after arguing about it

he claimed that was the reason they could not get married as they were both prone to it and that he needed a pure gene to have healthy children

He said a few other things which left mom sobbing and l felt sorry for her

I worried if l was also prone to the disorder

I decided to talk to mom about it but after having a second thought l stopped and left
