"I kept asking you what I should know, but you weren't answering so I fIgured you zoned out." he then glared at me and asked,

"Now tell me, What should I know?"

"Oh, sorry." I then moved my gaze to my feet and said in a quiet voice, afraid to see his expression "I lost my memory so I can't remember anything or anyone." I then closed my eyes tightly afraid I might cry. Because I'm afraid of losing my first and only friend In both of my lives. Then I turned my face around so he couldn't see me crying. The little boy asked.

"Amber, Why are you crying?" I mumbled

"Because"

"Because, why?" This time I Ignored him and got up to leave. When I got to the door something warm grabbed my wrist. "Wait, you dIdn't answer my questIon" he was glaring at me but I could see concern In his ruby eyes.

I quickly averted my eyes, not beIng able to stand getting pulled Into his beautiful red eyes that sparkled like a ruby lookIng Into my soul. "AMBER! STOP IT AND L-LOOK AT M-ME" His voice sounded shaky even though It was loud. It sounded like he was holding back his tears. It hurt me to think I made a little boy cry.

Without looking up I said "Sorry" In a low soft voice barely audible. I didn't want to make him sad anymore so I stopped struggling against the warm hand that was wrapped around my tiny wrist. He then let go of my wrist like It burned and said "What do you mean? Why are you sorry?"

"Because I lost my memory and don't want you to stop being my friend because of that" When I said that I looked at him, my face stained with tears.

He looked mad but tried to hold It back when I looked at him as he said "Why. Would. I. Stop. Being. Your. BEST FRIEND AMBER?!" I could tell he was about to explode so I looked away and said

"Sorry"

"Stop It Amber and look at me. Do you not want to be friends wIth me?" When I looked up I saw him crying silently so I said "Sorry"

He sighed and asked, "Do you at least stIll remember my name?" I shook my head no. He let out another sigh and sat back on the couch.

"Amber..'' he then sighed, continuing what he was going to say, "Come over here and I will answer your questions." I walked over to him and sat beside him on the couch.

"What would you like to know first"

"Name"

"Shawn"

"Who are you to me?"

"BestFriend since the beginning of Preschool"

"Okay, that's all, WAIT! But why are you here?" When I asked that last question he looked kinda irritated.

As if knowing he was yelling and had snapped he slowly breathed in and out then started talking again after he calmed down

"Amber I'm sorry, but I was just worried about you, So I came to see how you were. I didn't mean to yell" I said in a cheerful voice

"Okay" then we started talking mostly about how we met, everyone in kindergarten, etc.
