With the blinding lights of the aurora from the amulet fading, Mikayla and Phin begin to slowly open their eyes. Once open they both find themselves in an immaculate, luscious garden with them standing in the middle of a red rose patch. Through the garden are pathways with roses leading the way as well as stunning cherry blossom trees with their petal flowing off into the wind. Nuclei slowly walks around amongst the gorgeous floral arrangements not noticing that every step he takes causes flowers to grow from his water.
"Have you ever seen anything so beautiful before?" Mikayla says, still in awe of her surroundings.
"Depends and what you define as beautiful cause there was these two hotties tha- er.. I mean. No, no I have not." Phin replies as to not ruin such a moment.
Jin smiles seeing his friends and fellow demigod show gratitude to his hard work. "I'm glad you took a liking to my garden but you have much to see here. Come, we shouldn't waste time."
The three of them follow suit as they walk up the trail to a pristine marbel gate. It is only then that Phin looks upward and notices the aurora filled skies with the faded view earth looming in the background.
"That's earth!" Phin shouts pointing up. "We're in space!?"
Jin only laughs at Phins question. "You never cease to make me laugh. We are not in the endless void that you humans call space but a realm close that of your own. When the gods made this place for us to live they made it so we can have a view of where we started from. They wanted us to remember our humanity… or something like that."
The four of them begin to walk through the city of Eclidza. Mikayla, Phin and Nuclei glance around at all the marvel that is their city and the many demigods that inhabit it, who give confused yet scornful glances back. They shake off the dirty looks and continue on their way deeper into the city.
Having walked further into the floating city, Jin points towards the citadel off in the distance. "There. Just up ahead is where you'll get your answers, Marina."
"Would you stop calling me Marina. My name is Mikayla." She pleaded, picking up her pace to walk past Jin.
Jin stops walking and looks at her. "But that is what you were named by your parents."
Hearing Jin say the word parents makes Mikayla pause in her step. Turning around to meet Jin's eyes with anger in hers. "My parents are the ones who fed me when I was hungry, clothed me when I was bare and raised me when they didn't have one of their own yet loved me like I was. These Gods may have given birth to me but they are not my parents."
"And I was thinking I had parental issues. Demigods got it worse." Phin whispers to Nuclei.
"I haven't seen my father… creator for many years. I don't even know if he's still alive or not. I wish I could meet him again, I have so many questions to ask him." Nuclei says, replying to Phin who just stares blankly at him.
Phin shakes his head, softly chuckling to himself. "I forgot you can't talk. You're just a walking mass of water."
"JIIIINN!!"
The demigod's name is heard as a bellowing voice echoes through the city. Mikayla quickly senses another demigod approaching them swiftly. Phin and Nuclei look around but don't see anyone that would be running to them. Jin summons his sword from his flames, and with it still sheathed, holds it up above his head just in time to block Kerishs blow from his scythe. The ground under Jins feet crack from the weight of the attack. Powerful shockwaves launch back Phin and Mikayla, most of Nuclei's fluid body gets blown away and reduces him in size. Mikayla hits the ground, rolling back into a flight of stairs. Phin is actually caught by a cushion of wind formed by Genova who gently puts him back onto the ground.
"Thank you." Phin says at the alluring ebony woman whilst still in shock at what happened, looking on to see Jin and Kerish both cloaked in their God auras and in a heavy stalemate. Sparks of metal and intense flames shoot out from their clash. "Shouldn't we try to stop them?"
"You can try but you might end up dying if you get involved. They've been like this ever since they met." Phin takes notice of the other demigods and how they aren't phased by this in the slightest. She gives Phin a soft smile. "Excuse me for a moment."
"S-sure."
With that she casually begins walking up to the two of them. Stepping into the fray, Genova extends her arms out to her side and invokes her silver aura. The wind begins to become fierce as vigorous currents of air swirl around her body. Genova raises up both of her arms, clenching her fists and enveloping them in small, yet powerful, cyclones. She comes down with a maiden's fury and punching both of them in the head straight into the ground. The resulting punch ended with a shockwave that dwarves the previous one from their clash. Mikayla is pushed back into the stairs with her body flat against them and the majority of the water from Nuclei is all but gone. Phin is sent flying away from the massive shockwave, high above some of the buildings.
"HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU! KEEP THE FIGHTING IN THE ARENA!" Genova yells out, standing over the unconscious bodies of Kerish and Jin.
A few of the demigods come by and help pick up Mikayla off the stairs, a demigod of water helps Nuclei rebuild his body.
"Amazing. I didn't know demigods could have this much power." Mikayla says looking at Nuclei to make sure he's fine. "Wait a minute. Where's Phin?"
Phin wakes up floating in a pool of water. Finally becoming aware of his surroundings he finds himself being looked at by multiple female demigods in what it appears to be a backyard. "Hehe, alright."
