Audrey:
I was quiet as I watched Vladimir and through the room.
He didn't say a word, but I didn't expect him to. The fact that the two of us have not been talking was not one that I could ignore. It was painful enough as it was, but I knew that I couldn't bring myself to say a word. It just pained me that he did not understand me.
"Do you want to get something to drink?" He asked, taking me off guard. I looked at him for a second, trying to process his question.
"I don't understand." I said, voicing out my confusion.
"What is there not to understand? I am asking if you wanted to drink something." He said, and I shook my head. The idea of him asking so certainly took me off guard, and I knew that he understood that.
"The two of us have not been talking for a while and the first thing you ask is if I wanted something to drink?" I asked, and he nodded.
