Chapter 21

Olivia's POV

I woke up at night, two o'clock in the night because of a nightmare. In my dream, my children were crying because Arthur took them. That was it, but it managed to startle me. 

My eyes wide open, I searched for the whereabouts of my three children and I was surprised to see Elijah seemingly touching one of my children. I was angry, agitated because I knew the way Elijah had been treating me. That's what made me suspicious.

"Elijah, what are you doing?" I said in a low but piercing voice, making Elijah I saw startle and move away from my children.

I got off my bed and approached my children who were not far from me. "What did you do to my children, Elijah?"

I saw that Elijah was nervous and confused. That only made me suspicious and concluded that Elijah wanted to hurt my children.

"Nothing! What do you want me to do!" Elijah snapped, throwing his face to the side. But that clearly proved that he was about to do something.
