Next time

Jessica's POV

I rubbed my eyes to wake up from the deep sleep, feeling the morning sun on my face through the window. I sat up on the comfortable bed, turning my head around the room, remembering my encounter with the Alpha King. 

Everything that happened last night starts to flash in front of my eyes. It only brought confusion. Yesterday, I was so desperate to not let him touch me and I was successful somehow, but if I think about it now. There are so many things that don't match up with Alpha King's behavior. 

He was so scary at first, but then he just let me go as I begged him for 2nd time and even asked me to put the blame on him. Is that really the Alpha King that I always heard about?

I shook my head and got up from the bed, thinking about the way he was talking with his wolf. Even though I don't know what he was talking about. I really hope he didn't plan anything to hurt me and the human race. 

I walked up to the beautiful mirror I saw yesterday while correcting my clothes. 

The mirror is huge silver .... no, not silver but a metal I don't know about. I have never seen such a metal before. They covered this mirror with so many beautiful and rare gems, and if I take one of these back to earth, I promise you that I will be the richest woman ever. I shook my head, as it was hard to even get out of this world. 

I should find the black mirror as soon as I finish playing this new concubine role. After a few days, I am sure everyone will forget about me and it will be easier to get out of this world with Lilly. 

I took a long sigh, gave my dress a final look and, then started to work with my hair. It is not so messy, but still I should correct it like the Princess told me. All the royal members should be perfect and pretty all the time. 

Now I am standing in her place, and I get it. 

I turned around to face the door when I heard someone twisting the knob to open it.

I stood upright as the princess taught me. I waited for the person on the other side of the door to enter. 

My eyes went to the ground as I greeted "Greetings, Your Royal Highness". As I saw the Queen enter with her maids, exuding her royal aura.

I forced down the lump in my throat in nervousness when she turned her head around the room. I stood there like a statue, even though I knew what she was looking for.

I couldn't open my mouth to answer her in nervousness. 

She walked to the clean bed and asked, "Why is this bed so clean? And Why can't I see any blood in it?". 

My cheeks turned red as I immediately recognized what she was talking about. I gulped down and answered her steadily "His Highness, the Alpha King didn't come here last night". 

"What?!" she asked in shock, turning to me and then back to the bed. 

"Yes, Your Highness, I was alone here yesterday," I replied again, and I was happy that my voice didn't sound shaky or uncertain. 

"So you are telling me His Highness didn't come here yesterday, and you were alone?" The Queen asked in her usual cold voice, staring down at me with her beautiful eyes that didn't show any emotions. 

"Yes, Your Highness," I replied, directing my eyes down to the floor. 

Wait... What if the Queen saw His Highness entering this room last night?

My mind started to raise so many questions, but I shook my head and just followed what his highness Alpha King said.

No! Let me just follow His Highness's words. 

She stared at me for a few seconds and then replied, "Fine, you can go. I will talk about this with His Highness and will arrange another night again".

I nodded my head and replied in confidence "Yes, Your Highness," I said, ready to go back. 

Thank god, I didn't say anything extra. 

"Until you spend a night with His Highness, The Alpha King, you will not be named as his concubine, so make sure to take care of yourself and be prepared," she ordered, staring at me.

"yes, Your Highness" was only my response. 

"You can go. I will let you know the day and time," she said in a firm voice, hinting a little anger that was not directed at me. I didn't put my head to think who it was directed at either. 

I nodded and replied, "Yes, Your Highness". Then I started to walk out of the room, followed by 4 of the Queen's maids. 

I just remained silent the entire time of walked towards my palace. 

But the same can't be said for the maids. They had thier own world of gossiping about me, in front of me. 

I can't even stand up for myself! Hell! I can't do anything because they are stronger than me! Both in physical and in thier concetions. They are the most trusted Queen's maid, while I am just a woman who is waiting for His Highness the Alpha King to sleep with me so I can be one of his concubine that is just added to his list of concubines. 

The most unfavored concubine in the entire palace. 

"Isn't this the first time, his Highness the Alpha King actually didn't sleep with a concubine?!"

"She is so unlucky"

"No, she is Lucky to be His Highness Alpha KIng's Last concubine, both in favor and in the list"

Wow, so he is not marrying anyone after me. I kinda feel lucky that he decided to stop after me, as he already has like 50 concubines. I just wonder does 50 concubines are enough for his pleasure. 

Now, I got to know, why he was so generous with letting me have the night because he got other 49 women to sleep with. 

"Maybe, His Highness Alpha King doesn't wanna sleep with a human?"

"Possible, She is not that pretty compared to other concubines. She is just so average and is so fragile that can't take his highness's strength"

They laughed after this sentence and I am so pissed!

What the fuck do they think, they are doing?!

I wanna fucking punch thier faces! But I can't. If they want, they can easily kill me!

I took a sigh, trying to calm myself down until we reached my palace. 

They turned around to leave but were stopped by my words "I might not be a concubine but I know the rules. You guys are punishable to death for gossiping about His highness. Be careful next time. Even though I am not favored, I am still going to meet his highness and something unpleasant about this incident might reach his ears". 

I didn't let the smile slip from my lips as I directly looked at them and said these words. I might not be as string as them but I will never let them bully me.
