Married?! When?!

"So you are the Princess of the Human race" Her voice dips with arrogance as she stares down at me like I am nothing but a low class and says with the same tune of voice "Princess Elendra....?".

I nodded, staring into her beautiful honey eyes, and all I could read was pride and beauty.

I didn't show any emotions just like her, giving her the image of a strong yet submissive woman.

I am not someone that she could look down on.

"From now on, you are not a princess but a concubine of the Alpha king of the werewolf kingdom. A much higher position than you know, so change your behavior and act like one!" Her voice didn't change as she stared at me with disgust like I didn't deserve it.

I mentally rolled my eyes as if I loved it! If I could choose, I wouldn't be here and wouldn't let our princess be here, too.

I nodded my head and replied, "Yes, Your Highness the Queen" with the same smile and same attitude as before.

"Everything is prepared for you in your palace. My maid will bring you there," she said with the same tone of voice and look on her face. I didn't show her any change either.

I nodded my head with a smile and thanked her.

"Thank you, Your Highness Queen".

She nodded her head, and I turned around and followed her maid, but then I stopped and tilted my head a little in her direction and said with an innocent smile, "I never saw someone as beautiful as you, Your Highness the Queen".

Her eyes widened with a positive feeling for the first time that I entered this room and I gave her another smile and followed the Queen's maid outside, knowing well that I changed my perspective a little in her view.

I am ready to do anything as long as no one disturbs me.

I walked out of the door, following behind the Queen's maid, and saw Lilly standing there in nervousness. I gave her a smile like everything was fine and she sighed out her nervousness and walked to me without saying anything.

Lilly and I followed the Queen's maid out of the palace and entered into a bunch of other palaces. They are not as big and beautiful as the main palace, but still it is beautiful.

My palace is situated at the very end, like an isolated haunted palace. I took a sigh, seeing the condition. I doubt that someone actually stayed in this palace before. It seems like nobody has been staying in this palace for years now.

"This is the palace allotted for you." She said, looking at me without respect and mockery. I didn't mind that and nodded my head, saying, "Can we get some extra people to clean the palace?" I asked, not caring about anything.

"Yes," she said and turned her head around the place and saw a guy. She rolled her eyes and called him, saying "You low life! Come here".

My eyes grow wide as I never expect her to disrespect someone living in the palace and that too a werewolf. That guy ran in our direction like nothing happened and asked with respect, "Yes?".

"Get some people to clean this place. She will be staying here and you will be one of her servants," she said arrogantly and walked away in pride. I never expected that a Queen like her could keep someone like this as a maid.

I shook my head, not trying to poke my nose into something that I was absolutely not interested in. Then I turned to the guy with a smile and he greeted me, asking "According to your dress, it seems like you are someone important, but... if you don't mind, can you tell me your identity?".

He looked scared as his eyes directed towards his feet, thinking that I might be angry. I shook my head, knowing that he must have gone through a lot. I played the same innocent smile on my face but this time, it was real as I said "I am Princess Elendra, but right now, I am Concubine of His Highness Alpha King".

His eyes grow wide as he asks "So... so you are a concubine and also a human?! Human Princess?!". He moved a little closer, getting excited.

I moved a little back and nodded my head, saying "Yes...?" worried that he might know Princess Elendra and ask me because I don't look like her, but I put a hold on that thought after seeing him smile.

"Thank god! I finally saw a human just like me!" He said with a bright smile, getting excited by my information. I sighed out my frustration but asked, "Just like you? Are you a human too?".

"I can't actually say that... I am mixed. My mom is human and my dad is a werewolf. They both fell in love and gave birth to me, as she was pregnant with a strong werewolf. She died during childbirth and here I am. I am healthy but was hated by everyone because I am the first mix and there is no human in this country," He said with a sigh.

"What about your father? He loved your mother, right?! Why are you here if your father is a powerful werewolf, right?" I asked in confusion, getting angry at the way his father ignored him just because he was half-human.

"He... he hates me because I killed my mother when I was born... he doesn't want to see me," He said with a sigh, looking down in sadness. His voice trembled in pain, but then he raised his head with a huge smile on his face and asked, "Let's talk about this later and now. Let me help you!".

I nodded my head, not wanting to trigger his pain and torments, so I nodded my head and said, "Yes, bring us some people to clean this place".

He nodded his head and said, "At your service, your Highness". Then he walks or practically runs from there like a small baby. I smiled at his silliness then turned to look at Lilly, who was staring at him with suspicion, and said "I don't think we should believe his side of the story".

I was confused, so I asked, "Why?".

"Because I never heard a human married a werewolf before! I am the number one gossip girl in the human kingdom. Even though I don't see things, I will get all the information and do you really think that I won't know anything about this?! I never heard of it before! There are no rumors about a human even trusting a werewolf!" she said, still staring at his disappearing figure.

"If you don't believe him, then keep an eye on this guy, but act like you trust him. I don't want to hurt him if everything he says is true. He looked so happy to finally meet a human," I said, looking at his figure.

"I agree, now, come on, let's go in," she said with a smile, taking my hand. I nodded and walked in, deciding to start a new life again, in a place that was filled with danger.

He brought a few people, and they started to clean while I looked around the place. Even though it is not as good as other palaces, it is good.

I liked it.

I chose my bedroom, and Lilly did hers, which is next to mine. We didn't want to leave each other's side and do everything together.

After a whole day of work, the domestic workers completed their work and left so it was only going to me, Lilly, and the mixed guy that I forgot to ask his name about.

I turned to look at him, who sighed with a smile saying "Your Highness, this place looks good, right? Even though it is far from other palaces".

I nodded my head and replied, "Yes" staring at the last sun on its way to set. The front of this place has an amazing view, just like Princess Elendra's balcony.

I always stay with her and look at this amazing view with Princess Elendra. Talking about her, she must have left the human kingdom and gone to a place that is safer and good for both her and her boyfriend. I just hope that she is happy.

"What is your name? I just realized that I didn't ask you about it," I said with a smile, looking at him.

"My name is Geran and everyone calls me Low Life," He said with a smile that was filled with pain but was still trying to hide it.

I was about to say something but he changed the topic and said "You should prepare yourself! This is your first day of marriage and you should go to meet His Highness Alpha King".

"What?!" I asked in shock, not even knowing the fact that I was married.

"Yes, don't you know this? You should meet Alpha King as his concubine on your first day of marriage," He said, getting confused by my reaction. Then I turned to look at Lilly, who was as confused as me.

"Did I actually get married to Alpha King without even meeting him?" I asked like it was the stupidest and craziest thing that I had ever heard.

"You didn't meet His Highness yet?! According to the ritual, you should meet His Highness Alpha King and the Queen while entering the palace and then consume the night with him! That's how you officially become His concubine!" He explained everything in shock, as he didn't expect me to not know a simple thing.

My eyes grew wide with the information and turned to Lilly, thinking about tonight! Do I really have to meet him?!
