The Perfect Punishment

He turned back around to face Archer. Though she could no longer see his expression, she could tell from Archer's expression that Damien gave him a death glare.

"Stand down, Archer," he used his Alpha voice on him.

Immediately, Archer shifted back into his human form. He knelt down on the ground with his head low and bared his neck in submission to Damien. Safira looked all around, quickly noticing that everyone else around them seemed to have been affected by Damien's use of his Alpha powers. She was the only one still standing, despite feeling the pressure of the power he wielded.

"I'm sorry, Alpha, I… I got carried away," Archer's voice was small compared to Damien's.

Though Archer did not cower, his heart was pounding in his chest. He feared the wrath of his Alpha, as every wolf should. Safira placed a hand on Damien's shoulder.

"It's not his fault, Damien. We were sparring," she tried to explain.
