"Archer, you noticed it too, didn't you?" Diana turned to ask the male wolf for support.
Though he was caught off-guard by the question, Archer nodded in agreement. He didn't say anything because it wasn't his place to pry.
"Was it that obvious?" She muttered in defeat.
Diana could not help but roll her eyes as she let out a sigh.
"In the beginning, I thought you were really just excited to train, which I'm sure you were. But you were clearly distracted. You can't hide from him forever, you know."
In the distance, both Diana and Safira overheard some wolves gossiping.
"Alpha Damien is really going all out! He's already landed three hits on Beta Seth!"
"What's gotten into them?"
"I heard, they're fighting over a she-wolf!"
"How can that be?"
Diana and Safira looked at each other for a moment.
"Is this normal?" Safira asked. She knew wolves would often spar or tussle to let off steam. But what was happening now didn't seem like it.
