For Safety

When Safira regained consciousness, she could feel her senses all coming back to her little by little. She felt a warm sensation on her cheek and forehead as if someone had kissed her there some time ago.

Moving her hands around, she felt her surroundings. She quickly realized she wasn't on a bed anymore. She was leaning against something hard and it was a bumpy ride. She was in a carriage.

Safira slowly opened her eyes.

"Looks like they weren't lying when they said your recovery was coming along well," a familiar voice mused.

When her vision finally refocused and things came into view, Safira was pleasantly surprised to see that it was Alpha Malindra.

"Alpha Malindra?" Safira croaked as she straightened herself.

She could feel the soreness of the wounds on her back. To her surprise, she felt a lot better than she thought she would.

"How long was I out for?"

"From what I heard, a few days."
