The Alpha's Burden

Their bodies erupted into even more intense heat as Amelia threw her arms around Alpha Rofus' neck. She pushed her body closer to his. They began their exciting kiss anew. They both closed their eyes as if they did not have another option. They did this because they felt like they were the only people in the room. Nikita is not present, aside from Amelia. And no, Jack that is almost squealing with delight because of what Rofus is doing. 

"That's it Rofus. Do it. Enjoy yourself! Do you need my assistance? Let me give it a try. I'll take care of it." 

Rofus ignored Jack and instead continued to move his palm, caressing Amelia's back. As a result, Amelia's body nearly went limp. Alpha Rofus had no idea where the strange sensation was coming from. The only thing he knows is that he must react and give in to what his body desires.

"Rofusio—"

"Shut up Jack, will you?" he furiously begged not to disturb him as he was already out of control.

Amelia pressed her body against Rofus, causing the Alpha to lose control of his body whenever their skin came into contact. He wishes he had more. He is aware that he is craving something more. More importantly, he knows what will satisfy him.

"Oh!" Amelia's groans escaped from her partially open mouth, making Rofus appear more hungry.

When Rofus' hand went under Amelia's sleepwear to mold and give a smooth massage to her breast, his inner wolf Jack screamed with so much pleasure! Amelia let out a soft moan, almost pleading with Alpha Rofus to continue. That gave Rofus the confidence to proceed. Amelia arched her back as Rofus' flaring lips brushed the skin on her neck, making her even more addicted to what was going on between them. One of her hands crawled onto Rofus' head and messed up his hair. She tightened her grip, causing the starving Alpha to return to torridly kissing her lips. He is now already out of control and if he does not stop, he can claim Amelia's innocence.

"I would like some more..." Amelia's fragile voice begs.

When Amelia's hand went under Rofus' clothes and touched his abdomen, he snapped back to reality. He violently let go of Amelia's body, which fell to the soft mattress. Alpha Rofus was caught off guard by what he was doing to her body. His breathing became progressively worse. Confused. He took a few steps back, ready to flee, and ran away. For a brief moment, he has no idea what to do. 

"Where are you headed, Rofus?!" 

His knees trembled as he exited the room. Ignoring Jack's enraged expression.

"It is your fault, Rofus; I did not ask you to do that." Jack blamed him again, but this time in a mocking tone rather than with remorse.

His footsteps carried Rofus out of their packhouse. In front of the vast landscape. Even though it is late at night, some members of their pack are still out in the field doing something. Some of them are simply hanging around. They are simply passing the time.

"What did you do, Rofusio?" he questioned himself as he pulled some of his hair strands.

Jack starts spewing more nonsense, but Rofus prefers to keep it quiet because it does not help him think until his inner wolf decides to silence.

"But admit it, Rofusio, you enjoy what happened—"

"Shut the fuck up Jack, will you?" he hissed at his wolf, who was bothering him. "Do not annoy me. I am thinking of excuses for when she wakes up tomorrow and remembers what I did to her!"

Jack did not respond and simply vanished from his mind when Rofus demanded it. Still worried, Rofus sat down on the ground. Looked up at the half-moon shape floating in the sky. The passing by of thin clouds contributed to his strange sensation. Losing control, and it was not his will to feel his lips that had previously touched his mate's mouth. He shuts his eyes to reflect. 

It was clear that what had occurred between them was the result of his conscious thought. 

Amelia's reaction, the taste of her sweet kisses, and her scented scents aroused him and made him forget about everything else. Alpha Rofus let out a sigh as he reflected on them.

"You know what, Rofus? Even if you do not want it, it will happen. It is impossible to prevent what is unavoidable. Do not forget that."

Before Rofus objected to Jack's statement, the pack's Beta approached him.

"You appear to be thinking deeply, Alpha Rofus. What is bothering you right now?

Rofus hurriedly rose. He did not want anyone in his pack to think he was in trouble.

"Nothing, I just want to breathe some fresh air here," he explained to him after shrugging his shoulders.

His Beta paid close attention to him. Based on his reaction, he does not believe that their Alpha is unaware of any potential difficulties. However, he did not comment on his observation. 

"That is great to hear, Alpha Rofus."

Rofus spoke as the Beta was about to leave.

"Would you like to have a drink with me? We have not done that in a while. Do not you remember?"

The Beta, who had been one of his childhood friends, swung around Rofus. 

"Of course, Alpha Rofus. It's my pleasure."

They both laughed as they walked to Rofus' office, where he always received important guests or went alone when he wanted to.

"Do I still have to say no when the Alpha offers? Yes, you are right. We have not had a drink in quite some time. It's time too, to celebrate isn't it?" The Beta's words have various interpretations.

Rofus simply nods his head. His entire mind was still preoccupied with what had occurred between him and Amelia. 

"All right, let us go."

Before they can finally enter the main door of the mansion, they are stunned by the knowledge that one of Rofus' friends who is currently the Alpha of their neighboring pack has arrived.

"I'll leave you two now, Alpha Rofus. It appears that this is an important visit. There's always next time in everything." his Beta stated before he left. 

Rofusio's gaze followed his Beta. He wanted to stop him but, as an Alpha visiting with another Alpha their Beta couldn't blend in unless they were doing their job. He smiled and stepped forward to meet his friend, who had just arrived at their backdoor gate.

"Then go for it, Alpha Rofus. What is preventing you from doing that? Your pride? Get rid of it!"

They were already standing on the gazebo in the back of their packhouse. Rofus chose to stay there as requested by his friend, Alpha Amarok. They enjoy feeling the atmosphere of the night while drinking their favorite liquor. They also pay attention to the surroundings, which they find relaxing.

"Nothing. I am just afraid that because of my burden, I will not be able to give her everything she wants. I know, you understand what I mean, Alpha Amarok."
