As soon as my paws hit the ground, I tackled one of the hunters, breaking their neck and moved onto the next one. Their bullets sprayed around my body, some of them skimming through my fur but none of them pierced my skin because I didn't stay still long enough. I tackled another of the hunters, this one being the one with the machine gun. I dodged his bullets, aside from a couple that slightly cut me, and wrapped my jaw around his neck, squeezing until I heard a satisfying crunch. I was sloppy because this was my first real combat but I had no choice. I wasn't going to sit there and wait for their bullets to run out while more of the scum came and pulverized my pack with silver. We had an advantage when in wolf form as it made dodging bullets easier. Kyle growled at me in what seemed to be a scold. I brushed him off and we both fought our way through the ten or so hunters who had spread themselves around us, trying to get a hit.
