[Flashback continues]

Did Peter just directly call me mate right in the middle of a lecture?

Something stirred inside of me as he addressed me as his mate.

I couldn't tear my eyes off him. My whole inside was still disorganized which was as a result of being called a mate by a guy you've admired for a long time. And not just calling with an ordinary tone, there's this possessiveness I can strongly sense in the sensitive word.

"You don't want me to call you mate?" He asked in an almost inaudible voice so as not to get the teacher's attention.

I opened my mouth, looking for the right answer to his question but I found nothing to say. I've always wanted to be his mate, and now he's called me his mate, I became clueless on what to do and I feel so embarrassed about that.

"I'm sorry if I'm rushing things for you, Pixie, its just that....." he paused and let out a short exhale.
