RAIN
We had to come back to the city cutting our getaway short after I got worse.
Liam wanted me to be checked by a real doctor and I was too sick to even argue. He hasn't left my side since the night we fought …. The night I panicked and messed up to be more precise.
I feel so drowsy, coming in and out of the fever. I raise my right hand, noticing how stiff I feel. When I see my wrist is wrapped in white, I moan out softly.
"How are you feeling baby?"
"Tired," I whisper, turning to look at Liam who is seated on the couch in front of our bedroom fireplace.
"The wolf's bane is out of your system now, you should be alright soon," he stands up and comes to me. When he kisses my forehead, and softly on my lips, I breathe him in.
I missed him so much, I realize. "Hi," I smile a little.
"Hi," he smiles back at me.
"Are you in trouble?"
"Why?" he chuckles.
