Victor's pov

We finished showering after I almost eat her whole and went downstairs to have some breakfast. I was getting anxious in telling her that the rogues are here. I knew she will push to come with me and I would avoid that at any cost.

" Are the rogues here yet? " she asked moaning while enjoying her freshly made pancakes by yours trully. I gulped at that, there was no escaping her.

" They are ." I said averting my eyes.

" Finally, where are they? " she questioned placing her fork on the plate with a clank.

" The dungeons, please baby, you dont have to do that. "

" I have to. They killed my brother and attacked all of us, I have to , please understand. " she pleaded to me with tears appearing in her big round eyes.

I couldn't refuse her requests, ever, so I just nodded my head in approval. " Finish your breakfast first." I mumbled in defeat.

I mindlinked Luca to choose which captures were not very badly wounded and bring them into a different cell for my mate to see. I didn't want her to know how we extract informations from our victims, our interrogations were not for any woman to see. Let go my mate.

Going down the stairs to the doomed cells Carolina braided her fingers through mine and held them tight together. I could feel her anxiety even through we didnt mark eachother, as Alpha I was most succeptible to my mate needs.

" If is getting too much you let me know and I take you away, ok? "

She just nodded her head, bitting on her lower lip. Her chin was trembling and my heart squeezed at the sight of that. I was angry that someone made my mate so sad and anxious and the need to protect her was growing on me.

The cell doors opened and in front of us stayed a blond girl and a boy , probably around thirteen years old, possibly related due to the identic blue eyes and curly hair.

My mate stopped at the door and I jumped in defence at her sudden halt.

" They are just children. " she slowly said watching their blood covered bodies.

" Couldn't you pick some more menacing ones? " I argued at Luca with a growl through the link.

" Alpha, Luna would never be able to bear her eyes on them. " his neck slightly bending in submission.

He called my mate Luna and my chest puffed at his respect for her. I could see already and feel his attachment to her as his pack leader, his feelings of protection and care for her.

She got closer to the two small wolves chained to the wall with silver cuffs. She bent her knees in front of them and tried to touch the girls cheeck when she growled at her menacing. I tensed at that and barked at her to stand still or else she will not see tomorow.

My mate's eyes changed and ordered the guards to start interogation while she sat at the table next to the door, her chin in the palm of her hand. I loved when she was govinf orders and people obeyed her without even knowing she's the Luna. They could feel her aura flowing out of her and the power enveloping all of us in the room. A pleasant shiver ran through my body at the thought of that.

I could feel in the bond we share that she was anxious to find answers and afraid also for the two pups in front of us. But in this world looks deceive us and it was easy to see these two were dangerous, feral I might say. The smell of death surrounded them and it was not wrong to say that they had their hands dirty before.

" State your names. " Luca begun the interrogations. Silence flowed in the air that a pin dropping on the floor could be heard.

" I repeat myself and for the last time: what's your names. " Silence. He grabbed a whip and whipped it on the wall next to them , making the boy release a sniff.

My mate tensed at that and decided to step in.

" You know, my brother was killed by someone and we believe those people are from your pack. Rogue or not it doesn't matter, they deserve to be punished for this. What would you do if you brother would get killed here? By us? Next to you? Do you imagine the despair you would feel? How hard would be to breath when you will see him blowing his last one out? "

Everyone peeled their eyes wide at Carolina's words. Her eyes were black and I know something is about to go wrong, I feel it in my bones and I was so right.

Claws begun extending from her usual nails, small patched of fur were sprouting on her arms and her teeth were elongating. I rushed next to her, if someone was to stop her wrath it was me. I had to stop this with the help of the bond. I placed my hand on the small of her back rubbing circles, pushing her into my chest as she slowly relaxed and all the signs of a shift dissapeared. I sigh relieved at that, these people don' t know her power, I did and it was not for the weak hearted.

The chain moved on the wall and the little girl pointed to my mate. " You are the white wolf. " she said trembling. Everyone eyed my mate. " We have been told since very young to be vary of you. You are the one that is going to send us all to our dooms, we' re trained to eliminate you. "

I growled at that making the whole room shake. I dont like the disrepect she was showing to my mate and for sure I didn't like the way this was going to. These were not rogues, they are assassins.
