Chapter VI

Victor's pov

I barely had any sleep last night thinking that I'll probably meet my mate tonight and Lucifero done nothing to calm me down. He was right in his own way to pace like that in my head but his constant growls have been keeping me awake most of the night.

Growling I sat from my bed and went for a shower and man grooming , I like to keep my beard long and that needed constant attention.

Grabbing the suit that was neatly placed on my room, I'm guessing by my mother, I dressed myself and started grabbing all of my hair into a low man-bun.

Lucifero was pacing back and forth in my mind making me grow unrestled and he knows what I do when I get like this: I fuck. I fuck any she-wolf that throws herself to me without batting an eye. 'Calm down already' I growl internally at my wolf getting the same attitude back.

I grab my watch and head downstairs where a sea of people were fakingly getting on with eachother. This ball was happening every year and it had just one motive: extend and build stronger packs. I has no interest there, my focus was Italy and that alone.

Luca appeared in front of me with a glass of champagne. " Alpha, you are welcome, did you had a good night rest?" he said while smirking at my tired face.

"Nice one" I said while nodding to one of the balconies outside the castle.

"Alpha I have news, the Napolitan pack agreed to fuse with us and declare you to the Absolute Alpha and we are waiting now for the last back in the south to sign the reigning papers and It's all decided. Hopefully by the time we return we will have you declare as Il Capo." he said while taking a sip from his champagne.

"How's the south war going Luca? I guess is good because shortly they will recognise and submit to me. Are the fighters well fed there? Are the supplies enough? They have been fighting for months and even though our army is stronger we still have casualties."

"Alpha, you decided that is within my power to conquest south so I ask of you to trust in your beta, I won't dissapoint you Victor." he said with a solemn and straight face.

"Relax Luca, we are just conversing , I'm sure you have it all under control." a small chuckle exited my lips at the image of my emotional friend.

like wall the scent of coockies and coffe that I found last night hit me and I spinned on my heels to face the ball room. Coming down the stairs, the most beautiful being was scanning the room with her reddish- brown eyes looking for me I hope. I hope? What the hell I'm thinking , Lucifero was howling in my head, he was pacing left and right making me go in the state of absolute frenzy i was into last night.

She was holding Camillos arm, her little fingers having a tight grasp on his arm making me note that she's not used to wearing heels. Oh what she could do with those little nails on my back! Ok, I have to stop now, she'll be like all the others if I get close to her, which I will prove even.

'Mate.' I growl feeling Luca leave out a small gasp and taking the champagne glass out of my hand.

"Are to joking?" Luca said while leaving both of our glasses on a passing waiter tray. "Let's go after her." He said while pushing me in the ball room.

"Quiet!" I said more to my wolf than to Luca, making him bow his head low in submission barring his neck at me and a loud grown from Lucifero.

"Human don't fuck this up!! Mate wants us, I can talk to her wolf." he shout at me making me change my eye color from blue to golden. How can he talk to her wolf? I turn to Luca and I think the last time I saw him this happy was when his pup was born.

" Luca, can your wolf talk to Bianca's?" he leaned his head to one side and showed me a no sign.

" Just chosen ones can do it Victor." he said while scratching his chin. " You're doing it, aren't you?" I hum in response and go inside the ball room.

She was smilling in the middle of unmated wolfs making me growl loudly gaining half a ballroom heads to turn towards me.

"Hey there" the blond she-wolf that I was with last night jumped between me and my mate , hugging me in a sexual manner rubbing her cunt on my leg. "I was searching for you since last night." she said while kissing my neck.

My mate saw all this going on in front of her and turned to Carmillo pushing him outside the room.

I was angry, I couldn't and didn't wnat anyway to control my wolf and my eyes were shinning like golden orbs mirroring the light on the blonde woman's skin.

" Go away!!!" I growled loudly again and went outside after my mate.
