Madam Sharon popularly known as mama food is truly my Aunt's friend she's as mean as my aunt and treats her workers like animals. The restaurant section comprise of 10 cooks, 7waitress, and 3cleaners. The joint has just 2 barmen. The general cashier is jinna and she is also the manager's PA so avoid her. And my new friend and tour guide is lara.
Despite the fact that I hated the place I was at least ok because I now have a friend. I was assigned to work with the other waitresses I was soo happy since that's where lara is. My first day was really a hell of trouble since I manage to get jinna see me I just knew I was in a lot of trouble that only God can save me I actually didn't do anything just that my first customer was nice to me and I reciprocate by being friendly but he was the wrong person to be nice and friendly with, his the troublesome jinna's crush. After serving the man jinna called me to her office and was asking me why I was being nice, I glared at her, giving her a quizzical look and said nothing. So she ask me out. Lara rush after me when she saw me leaving jinna's office. Alora she called I turned, what happened in there? Lara, was i supposed to be grumpy while serving customers? No Alora but that particular one yes you were because his our able troublesome jinna's crush. Wow but how was I to know she was soo angry and I know I'm just in for it only God can save from jinna now. Is ok Alora all is well ok just ignore her for now let's concentrate on our work ok. Ok den we laughed and went to get orders in the kitchen.
We retired to bed after a stressful day at exactly 2am but sleep was a bit far from my eyes so I said my prayers to my maker and lay down with the only thoughts that comfort me, my mama and my siblings and with their voices running through my mind I slept off.
Waking up early is one thing I've gotten used to I woke lara up after saying my usual morning prayer, oh my father your daughter Alora is here again listen to my prayer, bless my mama and siblings, bless me too and my friends forgive my short comings but don't turn your back on me for you are my father and I am your daughter Amen. Good morning lora good morning lara, hope you rested well? No now lora how can I rest well? who sleeps by 2am and be up by 4am and still claim to resting well. She said, Lara please stop complaining let's take our bath and resume the days daily routine ok.... Good girl. We both stood up arrange our room, went to the well and fetch our bathing water before 5:30 we were dressed waiting for jinna to call us for chores. Believe me life at mama food is actually not funny since I only work and not get paid but luckily I have lara around the only friend I've ever had.
