Void Palace

"sigh…"

A long sigh sounded in the void and with it came a ripple that spread millions of miles.

The long silence was broken and as if to offset a chain reaction, thousands of bizarre images formed in the void.

A single light, then an illusory chair formed. A throne is more appropriate.

On this endless throne sat a man with his eyes closed as if in a meditative state. With him as the center, things started forming out of nothing, and vaguely a palace could be seen forming in the void.

The palace looked endless and eternal, out of the constraints of time and space. It floated peacefully in the void.

From it, nine chains extended into the void and broke the void traveling through it and one could not see the end of them. They were thick and sturdy and one could tell that whatever they connected to was heavy.

They looked like anchors keeping the silent palace in place, preventing it from drifting away.
