Two hours since they video called, there were no texts nor any calls from the girl. Neither was she picking up any calls. The man knew she would act on pulse and would talk to him for more than an hour or a day. But who knew that the girl was already on her way to reach her 'sick' boyfriend.
Alex looked at his reflection in dismay as he had faked his illness. "All the efforts for nothing!!" He groaned like a grumpy grandpa. It took him more than half an hour for setting the onion which kept moving from it's place. What more, he had to tolerate the foul smell in his body. Just then a knock was heard upon the main door. Since Mia wouldn't pick his calls. He decided to do some work to distract his poor needy heart.
"Hmmph." The man strode towards the main door lazily. Just as the door flew open, the cheerful face appeared in his vision which blinded him for a while.
