CHAPTER 30 ::- Rescue Mission

Inside a forest west of abam kingdom, Oyibo knelt down with one leg in front of the fire wood which he brought.

[Fire Skills-First Light]

Fire dashed out from her finger pointing to the firewood gathered together. The fire lached onto the fire woods, The environment lite up while her siblings kept themselfs warm.

The night birds occasionally makes their awfully noise which startle Oyibo sometimes. "Did you know we're we are." She asked egwu who looked around like he is pearing into a Cristal before his gaze landed on his sister.

"I don't know yet something is blocking me from pearing into the magic map. I think we are in abam kingdom." Egwu said.

He thought for a while before giving up. He came to this place when he is a child with his father. He has an inborn ability called holographic memory and making skills which helps him to track anything anywhere.

"I hope you are correct I don't want to get lost." Oyibo said and recalled how things will be if they were to be lost.

"Don't worry we will head to the town and ask around." Egwu said to calm her down. He soon went to sleep while the night became long and lonely. She kept the watch all night only her.

In the morning egwu woke isindu and Oyibo up they packed up quenching the camp fire, They set out for their journey soon. While on their way they met few people who never speak to them.

They came into the market square and approached two maidens whom were walking out of the market square. They approached them gently.

"Greetings fellow sisters can you give us the direction to agbatu kingdom." Oyibo asked after greeting them.

The two abam maidens looked at them before smile thour through there face. "You are new here, in fact you are not from around here" one of the maidens asked.

Egwu thought for a while before replying " yes we are not from around here." The girls throw a glance at each other's with pity in there eyes.

"Ok just follow this way straight and don't forget to keep your guards up. Don't let abam warriors catch you." One of the girls said while giving them the direction to agbatu kingdom.

The maidens went there own way, while Oyibo and her group went there way into the Forrest.

Soon they were deep in the forest eastern forest of abam kingdom between agbatu and abam. "We must try to get into agbatu kingdom fast." Egwu said

"I can't believe my ears that evil has find his way here in abam." Isindu mormored "Things has changed, power is indeed somthing els that can't quench their hunger for more in this world.

"I hope agbatu is not compromised by this evil." Oyibo said and became solum. If agbatu is compromised as abam is. Then there mission will be fruitless and might be killed as spies from other nearbouring kingdom.

They were lucky to have spreed there spirit sense to pick up information on what is happening in abam. But to there surprise thing that is beyond them are going on.

Egwu dictected movement behind them, He scanned with his spirit sense and saw some abam warriors chasing after them.

"We have to run, They are chasing after us." He said alarming them. They kicked off with great speed. Soon they stoped at the river marking the border between agbatu and abam.

She cast her spell. [Earth domean Earth bridge] a bridge made from earth appeared and they passed, They stood at the other side while the bridge crumbles when she deactivated the spell.

"I don't think they can cross over easily isindu said but paled when she heard the warriors words. "Use your elements to cross the river." One of the warriors leaders said.

Oyibo nodes to her siblings and they took off, They ran deep into agbatu territory. She and her siblings did not know what to do or were they are running to.

They knew that if they stop to fight them head on their journey will end there. The aura that they sensed from the abam warriors were blood tersty and terrifying.

Izunna came to his fellow warriors to report his findings and situation in ground. "There are two female warriors and one male warrior. Being chased by abam warriors." Izunna reported.

"Are they our people" omalinze asked after giving it some thoughts. "They are travelers from faraway. From there dressing I can conclude that they are from the river line folks." Izunna answered.

Obika went into deep thought while omalinze stood up and he scanned the warriors with his gaze. Obika and Annene knew what he meant. "We stand by your decision. Lead us to great glory." They all cheared.

Omalinze gave them there duties and position, They planned there strategy of attacking and how to protect the travelers. They all nodded in satisfaction while obika looked at him as he did so.

'you are a warrior and a leader whom his stars will shine to lead a give hope to people.' obika thought. "Obika! Obika" omalinze called and taped him on the shoulder.

He came back to reality as he looked at omalinze again with great focused and respect, "are you alright" Omalinze asked. Obika nodded. "Am alright just lost focused dou to over thinking" He replied.

Omalinze looked at him before they all went into the bush. The road became silent as wind blow giving off a cool refreshing aura around.

As Egwu Oyibo and isindu were running for there life, Izunna came out from the bush beside the roadside and blocked there path moving forward.

They were surprised to see a warrior blocking there path and decided to run back. As they turned backwards they saw another warrior blocking abam warriors excaping path.

This warrior is obika, this made egwu Oyibo and isindu to think twis. 'They might be here to save us' Oyibo thought ready to fight and cast his spell.

Omalinze block abam warriors from progressing further. Omalinze sword spear on his hand covered in flames, He unleashed his aura and slashed horizontally with great force.

Abam warriors can only watch there death coming, The flames and omalinze's aura has already rendered them immobile. Three warriors dropped dead as there body burn to ashes by the red flames.

On the other side obika bullied the other two warriors without breaking sweat. "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha HabNot bad" obika laughed and killed one of the warrior. The other warrior kept spitting blood.

If indeed a Devine fortoled them of this event they won't believe. Seeing is also believing, alas there is no pills for regrets. Obika gaze landed on omalinze who understood his thoughts.

Omalinze came close to the wounded warrior and looked dead into his eyes. The wounded warrior heart skipped thinking this is his end, The thought of his newly married wife he kept at home surfaced.

Egwu isindu and Oyibo were dazed then flagabasted at what they saw. But there guards were not yet down as they looked ath izunna whom blocked there way moving forward. 'Will we be taken as captives' Oyibo thought.

As omalinze squted near the warrior that still breaths "go tell your king of this good tidings. One day we will come for him and lay waste to his palace while we set those held captive free."

"We are the prince of aguda force" obika chipped in nonchalantly as the warrior ran off with fear as fast as he could.

Agbatu warriors that were present roared for there victory. "Omalinze you are quite dominearing, I have no reason to retreat being your sworn brother." Obika said with smile as he walked towards him.

Izunna cleared his throte to gain there ataintion, This omalinze understood and his gaze landed on the two young maiden warriors. 'we are gonners' egwu thought to himself.

Omalinze began scrutinizing them with his gaze to get every details he could, As the silence began oyibos heart skipped before it began beating fast.

She thought of the scene she just saw not long ago as this man killed three warriors in a go
