Against the World: The last Monapart

No one with the name Monapart could ever use magic. But no Monapart ever cared about it. They were always the strongest of them all. Each one stronger than the last. The world couldn't accept their existence. When the strongest Monapart died, they swore to never let another one get stronger again. Every human, beast, and demon would be killed at the mere mention of the name... But time passes, and soon, they forgot. "Curses...Curses... The fucking curses! They were the rage, the fear, and the embodiment of someone's will, so why?! Why all of them are made to kill everything?!" Said the first Monapart. But the curse in front of him didn't answer, it just stared at him smiling like always. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- When he was born, he didn't cry, nor made any kind of sound in the process, but no one cared for him enough to notice. After just two days of life, he opened his eyes. An unusual thing as babies usually need at least a month to do so. His green eyes moved wildly looking at every corner of his room with deep curiosity, but not understanding anything in his view. He still couldn't understand the concept of 'thing' yet, but that changed after one month of life. After one month, he understood he was alive and most of the things in the room weren't. He still couldn't put it in words but he clearly knew that he was way different than the chair next to him. The speed of his understanding was outstanding. Sadly, in his sixth month of life, while he was asleep, flames covered his entire room and himself. It didn't take even a second and all the room turned into ashes. The baby didn't die as expected, but he was no longer in the dark room. [ Curse received: Heart offering ] . . [ Heart offering: Once per day the curse bearer will lose one of his five senses until he loses everything or dies ] . . [ Heart offering is taking effect ] . . [ Sense of hearing lost] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -At least one chapter of 1000 words a day -If you don't like the start, I guess chapter 21 is a good one to jump to but you will still feel a little lost -If you find any error, please comment on it and I will fix it -I hope you like it

A Mother And Daughter

The door close and Lili was left alone in the house.

She didn't understand why Alexander wanted to go back there.

*Sigh*

A few hours later, she stopped worrying about him and thought about what she had to do today. Her mother had called her to the castle to talk about something, but she didn't even bother telling Lili what it was.

Lili teleported to the castle and the huge doors opened as she entered the throne room.

Her mother was sitting on the throne with her legs crossed, dressed in a red dress with

"Hello, dear daughter" she said as she stood up from the throne "How are you?"

"I'm fine, thank you" Lili answered and bowed before her mother.

"And how are you?" She asked again in a graver tone.

"I'm fine, thank you" Lili repeated.

"Hmm, you don't seem very happy today. Is everything alright?"

"Yes, yes, everything is wonderful" Lili replied, her voice sounding false and fake.

"I see..." Her mother looked at her with concern. "Is something wrong? Do you want to talk about it?"

"No, no, everything is fine."

"It's not you who needs to tell me if you are fine or not, dear. It's me. And I think you need to tell me what's bothering you."

"But everything is fine. I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me, you have so many other things to worry about"

"... Okay then, if you don't want to talk, that's fine... Let's talk about what I called you here for. The human army has been growing stronger lately and I will have to step into the battle this time. And you are coming with me, whether you like it or not"

"But I don't want to fight!" Lili shouted.

"You are a vampire princess, dear. You can't stay here forever."

"I will not leave here"

"You can't be here forever. Sooner or later you will have to do what is expected of you, and you don't want to die in battle, do you?"

"I don't want to go to war!" Lili cried.

"You will have to fight because this is your duty."

"My duty? Why do you have the right to give me a duty?"

"Because I am your mother."

"You are my mother? But you know nothing about me, you have never spent more than a minute with me, and If I suddenly disappeared somewhere, you wouldn't even notice until one of your servants comes to tell you"

"That is not true" Her mother said "I know everything relevant about you"

"What do you mean by relevant?!"

"You are a princess, my daughter and you need to become stronger. Anything else is irrelevant right now"

"No, it's not! You can't force me to do anything, you don't know what I want, and you don't know anything about me!"

Lili teleported out of the throne room and appeared somewhere inside the forest.

"AAAAAAH!!!" She was really angry as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

She didn't know why she was so angry. She couldn't explain it, but she was mad.

Mad at her mother for telling her she had to fight. Mad for being forced into something she didn't want to do.

Since Lili became free from that room, she simply couldn't stand the feeling of being ordered or controlled. Not only that but her relationship with Shira wasn't the best either.

She tried countless times to talk and spend time with Shira.

A few years ago, she used to ask her every week if they could go somewhere together, and sometimes Shira would even agree to go, but she never showed up.

Lili felt frustrated and sad so many times, she understood that her mother was a very busy person, so she would always ask many days before if they could go out together.

But every time Shira would just not show up, and without any explanation at all, Lili always felt very confused and angry about that.

After a while, Lili stopped talking to her mother altogether.

She still wanted to be with her, but the more she tried, the more angry and sad she got.

She was tired of asking her mother when they could meet or when they could talk.

'She doesn't care, so you shouldn't care either... AGH!!! Why is it so hard to just stop thinking about it?'

Lili took a deep breath and calmed herself down.

She was alone in the forest and there was nothing to worry about.

It wasn't like she had never been alone before, so she knew how to keep herself occupied.

She started walking through the woods, following the path that led to the lake.

It was late afternoon and the sun was going down.

The sky turned orange and purple and then red, Lili watched the sunset with great interest.

She walked until she reached the edge of the lake.

The water was calm and smooth, but Lili wasn't interested in swimming.

She just wanted to watch the sunset and relax.

Lili sat down on the grass and looked at the sky. But after a few seconds, she turned her head to the side, staring at something.

"And what should I do about this?"

She was looking at a very familiar door that had trapped her inside a room for thousands of years. The beautiful golden door was standing completely restructured beside the lake.
