Playing the Fool to Catch the Wise

That afternoon, Lin Hao and Su Ya went to a cafe near their office. The company had recently completed a major project successfully, and everyone was celebrating. Although Lin Hao was now an invisible billionaire, he remained low-key, occasionally showing off a little in front of Su Ya.

In the cafe, their colleagues were discussing the recent economic changes. Some were still confused and uneasy about the changes in their lives, but others, like Lin Hao, were gradually adapting to the new environment.

Suddenly, Zhang, the most boastful manager in the company, came over. He seemed a bit tipsy, probably from over-celebrating. Zhang sat down next to Lin Hao and Su Ya and began to mock, "Hey Lin Hao, I heard that prices are dropping. Are you planning to save even more money now? Ordinary people like us have become poor overnight."

Lin Hao was a bit annoyed inside, but he kept a smile on his face and replied, "Yeah, Manager Zhang, I'm just an ordinary person like everyone else." His tone was calm, but there was a hint of cunning in his eyes.

Su Ya noticed Lin Hao's expression and became secretly curious. She knew about Lin Hao's recent changes but didn't know the real reason behind them.

Zhang continued sarcastically, "Lin Hao, you seem quite calm lately. Do you have any secrets?" He deliberately raised his voice, attracting the attention of those around them.

Lin Hao maintained his smile, glanced around, and then quietly took out his phone, gesturing to Su Ya to look. Curiously, she leaned in and saw a string of astonishing numbers on his screen.

Zhang, puzzled by their interaction, watched them. Lin Hao said to Zhang, "Actually, I've had a bit of luck recently. But I know it's all temporary. What really matters is our effort and teamwork."

Hearing Lin Hao's words, the colleagues around nodded in agreement. Zhang felt embarrassed and left without another word.

Su Ya whispered to Lin Hao, "What was that just now?"

Lin Hao smiled mysteriously and replied, "Sometimes, playing the fool to catch the wise is a way to survive."

That night, on his way home, Lin Hao pondered his next steps. He knew that as time went on, he had to be more cautious with his wealth and learn to find his place in the new economic environment.
