50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. Huo Ling was delivering food that day when he met Yi Bing and the guy gave him a warning. When he arrived to the customer's unit, he was killed. Huo Ling: you set up a death flag for me! Laboratory Room
Yi Bing walked inside the laboratory building first, which is not far from the male students' dormitory building. Since he saw the laboratory building first, he will check it first. Also, based from what he heard from Huo Ling, the first school 'legend' is about The Bloody Corpse in the Laboratory Room. Yi Bing is thinking that if he will investigate, he might as well investigate the first school 'legend'. Who knows if he will discover something if he will investigate in order?
Yi Bing looked around and saw that the laboratory building is empty not only because it has police lines barricading the way, the laboratory building now looked very gloomy because of the school legend of it. So, no students dare to pass by it and would even choose to detour than to get near it. Which Yi Bing is glad of since he can see even before he approached that the laboratory building is surrounded by a very thick Foul.
