Congrats...

Hey guys,

I apologize for the sudden disappearance, I was bound by some personal things and made you all wait for so long for the updates.

Hope you all are doing good and thanks for the concerns and ya I am alive…..?

It was 7 pm,

In Long's group,

Aaron was going through a few documents and there was a knock on the door and he said ' Come in'.

The door opened and his secretary came in with a tuxedo and said ' Sir, your tux has arrived'.

Aaron looked at her who was wearing a green long dress, he nodded and said ' Just hang it there will change in a bit'

The secretary hung it and after saying few details left…

Aaron got up, took the tux and went to change…

After some time Aaron came out in the tux looking all powerful and dashing, he went out and both he and his secretary got into the elevator all the way to the basement and into the car and left for the party….

In Jacob Palace,

The whole place was beautifully decorated, all rich and powerful people were present, one after another people were getting off the expensive cars, walking up the red carpet entering the luxurious palace…

Everyone was excited and confused due to the sudden announcement of the party, last time the party was announced in which it was informed of the new chairman Chris Jacob who has taken the Jacob group to new heights and now everyone was waiting for the announcement of today…

Aaron finally reached and they got down and were welcomed inside…

Aaron and his secretary went in and started talking with different people…

Suddenly there was a commotion and Aaron looked at the entrance and saw a group of people enter and he saw beautiful eyes but were soon covered by the crowd and as the crowd scattered,  he saw a beautiful girl in a black dress walking elegantly on the red carpet….

He looked at her eyes which had bright light and the pride he couldn't move his eyes for a few moments and his secretary said ' Sir, she is Ava Louis, the new head of the Louis group'

Aaron looked at Ava once again and then moved his eyes…

One after another people were meeting with Ava and her father…

The party started and the crowd had almost arrived and now the only wait was for Jacobs to arrive…

Ava and her father finally were alone and her father left to meet someone leaving her alone, Aaron's secretary said ' Sir, Miss Ava Louis is alone'

Aaron looked at her and he nodded and they walked towards her.

Ava looked at Aaron coming towards her and Aaron's secretary introduced him ' Miss Ava this is Aaron Long, acting chairman of Long's group'

Ava looked at Aaron with contempt on her face, Aaron looked at her expression and was confused…

Suddenly Ava said ' Ohh, you got time out of your busy schedule? Must be tough leaving girls and standing in between so many people'

Aaron and his secretary were confused but Aaron said ' There must be some kind of misunderstanding, If you are free we can have the meeting tomorrow'

Ava sneered ' There's no need for that'

Saying she passed him and started talking to someone…

Aaron was confused due to her strong opinion of him. He sighed and went to the bar and started drinking, his secretary just sitting beside him silently.

After 10 mins, suddenly the lights were dimmed and a spotlight was kept on the stairs where a young man who was none other than Chris Jacob ( He was the successor of the Jacob family and was highly successful, he was arrogant, though was very charming but it was shadowed by his harsh and cruel behaviour)

Followed by an old man who was  his father and there was applause,

Mark Jacob looked proudly towards the crowd and said ' Thank you all for gathering here to be part of the Jacob family, today this party has been organized to make a very important announcement, which is very important'

Hearing it many looked at each other trying to predict what might it be, a few were guessing marriage on cards, some investment opportunities and many more…

Everyone was curious except one man who was sitting at the bar and having his drink calmly.

Mark looked at all the curious faces, he smiled and another spotlight was focused on a girl making everyone gasp….

It was Ava Louis, she stood elegantly under the spotlight, Aaron looked at Ava in the spotlight.

Mark said ' I would like to announce that Chris Jacob and Ava Louis will be getting engaged soon and both the groups will merge' he had a proud look on his face saying it…

Ava slowly walked towards the stairs under the spotlight and went and stood beside Chris…

Everyone was either happy or jealous about the merger and no one noticed that there was a dim light in Ava's eyes, not the bright shine she previously had, except for one…

Aaron looked at it and shook his head and stood up and went near the couple shaking Chris's hand and said ' Congrats' but was looking at Ava who looked at him and he said ' Congrats miss Ava Louis…. Sorry, Jacob…'

While Saying this he had a cunning smile on his face and Ava though smiled politely from inside and wanted to tear him down as she knew he was provoking her by saying it…

Aaron smiled though he felt pity for her as everyone has heard his harsh behaviour of Chris but it's what it is and turned and left towards the exit with his secretary…

On the way his secretary asked ' What will we do sir, Miss Ava denied meeting with us and now as they merged with Jacob, they are way more powerful and we lose 2 big fishes '

Aaron was just silent and then he said ' Don't worry, she herself will call for a meeting'

Hearing it she was confused, she said ' Miss Ava herself will arrange a meeting?'

Aaron didn't say anything, just had a small smile on his face and he thought ' The way she was aggressive, after my provocation she will want to insult me too and for it, she has to meet me '...
