Aegis who came from his brief time with Weiss who wanted her daily attention in the form of sex, and Raven with who Aegis had an interesting conversation about Salem that made him come to visit and thus to make this interesting event happen.

Aegis asked as his eyes fell upon the pc holo-screen that showed one of the best games that were ever made.

"What I think is that you are insidious and clever in utilizing games for children in teaching them multiple different aspects of life at the same time and in an enjoyable manner."

Salem said to Aegis, who nodded his head.

Salem truly meant that, no matter how much hatred she had for humanity back then, the passage of time made her anger on humans/faunus pale in comparison to her anger on gods and Ozma.

So when Salem said she was impressed, she meant it, after all the thing she just tried was one of the most devious things she ever saw.

The game Salem was thinking about was none other than one of the most recent yet already most popular games in the entire history of gaming on Remnant.

The Grimm Survivor.

A survivor-based game that was invented by the new SDC branch that prioritized games and entertainment.

It is a survivor-based game with two difficulties, NORMAL with a human protagonist and DIFFICULT with a faunus protagonist.

In the game you are the sole survivor of frontier settlement and your target is to get to civilization through Grimms, bandits, cults, and cannibalizing tribes that are in uncivilized parts of Remnant common.

The creators of the game were both faunus and humans who gave their hearts into it, thus leading to story-rich decision making with enormous weight on your choices.

And the best thing was that it was truly realistic, from the attitude of NPC to the capabilities of both protagonist and his enemies.

Where human aka normal difficulty is a easier, the faunus difficulty is hellish for those who never were on receiving end of racism.

Thus making a lot of players who were young think about their attitudes as they played as faunus and see just how difficult it is, from comments from NPC to outright hostility, to the biggest shock of ending, where human was transported back to the city without a problem once he contacted authorities and survived until their help.

The faunus was either ignored by the operator or when help come it was in fact corrupted officials that sold the faunus who thought he was saved served into slavery.

"A fascinating thing to make young ones teach harshness of their actions."

Salem said as she walked to Aegis and sat beside him as she prepared tea she came to enjoy in the mansion.

"Thank you, you don't know how glad im that my work is bearing fruits."

Aegis said as it was him who supported all creators and writers in their work, it was just one of many ways Aegis used to erase the problematic problems of racism.

"But to think you would even make side comments about me existing, don't you fear Ozpin would find it?"

Salem said and Aegis shook his head.

"Ozpin is no longer problem, not for me... And yes, in case you will in future emerge into public eyes I want to make them more, how to say it."

Aegis said as he thought.

"Acclimatized on the idea of immortal witch that for millennia terrorized their lives with her armies of Grimm?"

Salem said with a chuckle as she enjoyed mocha tea that was exported from Menagerie that now held the number one position in tea cultivation.

"Yes, I know, stupid."

Aegis chuckled, like if such method could work, if there was one thing then it would be that mankind could hold grudges for a really long time...

"No, no it's not, it is an actually a good idea to let people familiar with the idea of my existing, on another matter, I can see that Cinder is getting along with your other older sister, don't you have to worry?"

Salem asked as she was truly interested, millennia of loneliness made her interested in family drama as any other woman, immortal or not.

"No, actually, they seem to get along well, it has probably something with them hurting me in me when I was young..."

Aegis said, he wasn't blind he knew how Cinder and Winter saw kindred spirits in each other, both of them failed as older sisters, and both of them had the drive to compensate Aegis for the rest of life for their actions.

"I see."

Salem said as she hummed, truly she forgot how it works, maybe she should be like Ozma who forget about her and married again and again...

But then where Ozma grew old just to start again, Salem would need look at how her children grow old and sick, she would need to watch them die again and again, and Salem knew that wasn't something she was ready for if ever.

But then she thought about the serum Aegis was making, if its success.

Then maybe her dream of a family that wouldn't be subject of time whins be fulfilled.

"Salem, what do you wish to do when you slay brothers?"

Aegis asked, he didn't say IF, there was not IF, Aegis would make sure to defeat gods, one way or another, there was zero places for doubts.

"What do I wish for..."

Salem hummed.

What did she wish for?

When Salem thought about it four faces emerged from her memory, the faces of four young girls that died prematurely be their parent's hands.

"Family wouldn't be a bad start."

Salem start, and for the first time Aegis could see what lay under the cold and unfeeling form of an immortal witch, it was the same face Aegis mother made when she looked at him or his sisters...
