Chapter 103 Event in the Sanctuary 2

Several days have passed after the testing for the new weapon under Antonia's team where they had succeeded to reduce the production rate for the Red Crystal which is the crystallised form of Akari's power from 40 hours to 24 hours. Currently, there are four Red Crystals had been produced including the first one which had been integrated into a weapon. Antonia's team did not continue the next process of their project, which is the integration of those crystals with weapons as the manufacture of those specialised weapons is progressing slowly due to the difficulty of creating one of those weapons whether searching for rare materials or the technologies behind those weapons' creation.

Kuune is working on the documents about the management of the Sanctuary where the current Sanctuary needs a new direction on how this planet should go after they have separated themselves from the Galactic Federation of Intelligence Life. Although their planet did not face any troubles from the Federation due to Ichijou Kanda's identity as the messenger for the higher beings which had been told by the Orsonions, they still need to reinforce their planet's management and security after the tyrannical ruling of Freidrich Ungrass whose caused the fall of previous Sanctuary's government or its previous name, Catia Federation.

After the new government has been established by Kanda, he has decided to revamp all the government's structures where he has captured all the corrupted officials under Freidrich Ungrass before appointed new officials which he has investigated their backgrounds and ensure their loyalty towards the newly established government. Kanda has also decided to merge Dogisia Federation with Sanctuary after clarifying the truth behind the fall of Dogisia Federation to his people. They are happy with his decision on the merging of both planets as their atonement for their falsely accused ally.

==Kuune's POV==

I sigh while working on the documents that need my attention where this has caused my coworker that had presented in my office to look at me and say, "What is it that has caused you to sigh like that, Kuune-san?"

"Well, Rose...I'm feeling a headache as I'm reading these reports about those planets that had wanted to establish an alliance with us due to the news of our successful separation with the Galactic Federation." I replied to my coworker, Rose, where she held the rank of Sanctuary's Chief Secretary.

"Although we have separated ourselves from the Galatic Federation, we also had lost the protection from the Galactic Federation which had been granted to their alliance members. Fortunately, we could recover our military's might quickly due to the quick action by General Abrohams after he had received Ichijou-kun's permission to increase our defense department's might." Continued Kuune on her words.

"What would be happened if we didn't increase our defense department, Kuune-san?" Asked Rose seriously as she looks at me.

"You can say that those opportunists will try to invade us as we are still trying to recover ourselves from fighting with Freidrich Ungrass. By quickly recover our defense, we could avoid others from taking advantage of us." I answered her question.

"Anyway, are there any issues that might need our attention, Rose? Sanctuary right now is in the early phase of reconstruction so we might need to focus on that development and ensure the stability of our planet." I asked Rose after had seen that she understood my words.

"From all of those reports which had been received by me, there are three issues that need our focus on it. The first report is the issue on the creation of our portal gate that had been requested by the Supreme Commander where this issue has been appointed to our Sanctuary's Research and Development Department which had been directed by Director Ichika." Said Rose as she talks about the first issue.

"What issue that Ichika-chan's department want to report to us, Rose?" I asked Rose.

"In her report, Director Ichika has mentioned that her team has succeeded to create the giant-size portal gate which had been requested by the Supreme Commander where currently they only need to test whether the portal is working or not." Explained Rose on the report from Ichika-chan.

"Are there any problems that arise from the development of that portal?" I asked her again.

"In this report, that portal needs huge amount resources to activate it where Director Ichika has assumed that they need about 100 tonnes of rare metals or they could use 50 of those Red Crystals which is currently has been handled by Vice Director Antonia from the same department like Director Ichika. Furthermore, that portal also needs the activation factor from the Supreme Commander where they could substitute it using those Red Crystals too. This is due to the source of those Red Crystals are came from the power that originated from Supreme Commander." Said Rose.

I have heard about Ichijou-kun's power previously from his girls where they had told me that he had received that power after his visit to Antonia-chan's place during their mission on Earth which Ichijou-kun had got that power when he had rescued Antonia-chan's subordinates when they had been frozen after they had interacted with that power.

I look at Rose and say, "Well, I will allow their testing on the portal gate where they also need to collaborate with Antonia-chan's team for those crystals which will be used for the battery of the portal gate. Next, I want you to tell me the next two reports, Rose."

After that, Rose continues her report which I listened to her where the next issue is about the formation of our elite forces which had been lead by Maya and Sarah due to the absence of Raven, Hawk, and Swallow, the Captains of the Sanctuary's Elite Forces where they were currently at another world with Ichijou-kun. Rose has told me that the equipment for those elite forces is sufficient where they currently waiting for the upgrade of their weapons by using those Red Crystals which had been tested its success in merging with weapons.

The next issue is the arrangement of Sanctuary's workforces where many infrastructures in Sanctuary are being developed to accommodate all the people on this planet including our second planet that belonged to the Dogisia Federation where that planet has been governed by Jens, the descendant of the people of Dogisia Federation. The development of our infrastructures is progressing smoothly due to the lead of Captain Rosaline where she had been appointed as the Director of the Sanctuary's Development and Infrastructures. Cooperation by the people on the planet can be said as awesome where they had gathered their strength to ensure the development of the planet is proceed smoothly without caring about their backgrounds.

As we are spending several hours working on our tasks, suddenly we heard an emergency siren has been rung across the whole planet where this siren will be activated when something unknown has breached our planet's defense mechanism. Although we had reestablished our planet's defense back, I could guarantee with our defense as those mechanisms had been created by the collaboration between Ichika-chan, Jens, and Antonia-chan. Therefore, when this siren suddenly has been activated, it shows that something important has happened here on this planet.

After I'm telling Rose that I will oversee what has happened which she also has decided to follow me, we traverse towards our military's headquarter which I can see that a huge number of soldiers had been dispatched to counter any of the problems that might be happened later. After a series of encounters with those soldiers, we have arrived finally at the meeting room inside the building where I can see that those upper echelons in Sanctuary's government had been presented there which only left with the two of us.

"I'm sorry for being late, everyone" I said to the people inside the room before I sat in my seat and say, "So, can anyone tell me why is it, our emergency siren has been activated?"

I look at everyone's face after had said that which General Abrohams looked at my face back before he says, "Prime Minister Kuune...I have received the reports from one of my soldiers who had been stationed at one of the Sanctuary's outer space outposts where in his report, he had found an unknown spacecraft suddenly appeared near his outpost. However, that spacecraft can be seen just floating near that outpost without doing anything. When the soldier at that outpost had tried to communicate with that spacecraft, that spacecraft suddenly letting out a series of weird noises before it has changed into a distress signal where my soldier has received 'help' transmission from that spacecraft."

I listened to General Abrohams's words as he was telling me his subordinate's report. I look at him and say, "Is that spacecraft still present out there, General?"

General Abrohams nods his head on my words before he says, "That's right, Prime Minister Kuune. My soldiers at the outpost near that spacecraft are still monitoring its activities where currently there is nothing suspicious movement from that spacecraft."

"Alright...Can you show us the visual of that spacecraft, General?" I said that at General Abrohams.

I can see that General Abrohams instructs his subordinate that stood beside him before his subordinate manipulates the terminal on his hands and the visual of an unknown spacecraft has appeared in front of us. As I had seen the visual of that spacecraft, I could swear in my mind that I might have heard about this spacecraft but I could not remember where is it, this ship has come from.

The spacecraft can be seen as a crystalline ship where it has a mace-like shape design which at the top of it, a red crystal can be seen while being surrounded by four sharp crystal spikes which are pointing upwards in the '+' sign directions. As we are looking at that spacecraft, we could hear a sound that has come from the spacecraft where it might be the same noise that had been heard by General Abrohams's subordinate in the report.

Listened to that sound, I suddenly raise from my seat as I'm slamming my hand on the table as I had remembered where is it, that spacecraft have originated. I look at the people inside the room before focusing my gaze on General Abrohams and say, "General Abrohams...quickly instruct your subordinates to guide that spacecraft to our location right now. If the identity of that spacecraft is the same just like what I had remembered in the past, we couldn't do anything on that thing as we might incur its wrath on us."

"What do you know about that spacecraft, Prime Minister Kuune?" Asked General Abrohams.

"I will tell you later, General...I need you to tell your subordinates to escort that spacecraft right now." I look at him with a serious expression on my face which he looks at my face for a while before he nods his head and gives his instructions to his subordinate after that.

After he has given his instruction, General Abrohams looks at me and says, "So, can you tell us what do you know about that thing, Prime Minister Kuune? It's rare to see your anxious expression as you had handled all of your works with a calm demeanor."

"That spacecraft is Ryo-Ohki." Answered me short to his inquiry.

Everyone has surprised expressions on their face after they had heard my answer where Rose asks me, "Are you sure about that, Kuune-san."

"Of course, Rose. I didn't make a mistake on that as I have read about that ship from our archive where one of our exploration team in the past had encountered that ship but our upper echelons at that time didn't believe with their report. I can assure you that the ship that has arrived today is the same as the ship that had been encountered by our senior exploration team." I replied to Rose's doubt while explaining the record that had been read by me.

Everyone only could be in silence after listening to my explanation which I say to them, "Anyway, everyone...whether what I had said here is true or not, we need to meet with that ship first before we are making any decisions as we didn't want to make any bad first impressions with our guest."

They nod their head before following me towards the landing spot for the spacecraft at the military building where we can see our spacecrafts had escorted the Ryo-Ohki to the landing spot which we had gathered there currently.

As the Ryo-Ohki has landed smoothly on the landing spot, I could feel that I'm excited to see the legendary spacecraft that had been recorded where there are not many people couldn't have the pleasure to meet with that spacecraft.
